The branded keychain is not a bad object. It holds keys, which is a real job, and it does that job well. The trouble is where it does it. Within about a minute of leaving your counter the keychain is in a pocket, and from that moment onward every single thing it does happens somewhere other than the car. What you are describing when you say "something they put in the glovebox and use later" is an object whose function has an address inside the vehicle - and that is a genuinely different category, not a nicer version of the same one.
An object with an address inside the car. SOSA car perfume, 12ml, ₹449 to ₹509 - two variants at the same price: Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw). Handed over sealed, opened when the owner wants it, and useful nowhere except a cabin. Alcohol-free, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India.
Quick answers — read this first
What can a car business give that a customer keeps in the car rather than in a pocket? Something whose use only makes sense inside the vehicle. SOSA car perfume at ₹449 to ₹509 (12ml) goes into a door pocket or a glovebox and is applied there. Two forms at the same price - Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw) - so the choice is control, not budget.
Is a car perfume spray more functional than a branded keychain? Both are functional. The difference is where. A keychain works in a pocket, a bag and a front door; a spray only ever works in the cabin, which is the place you actually wanted the object to be. No fitting, no explanation and nothing to demonstrate - it is handed over sealed and the customer opens it when they want it.
Does a spray or a hanging bottle suit a glovebox better? The spray, because a glovebox is exactly where an applied-on-demand object belongs and a hanging bottle is meant for the mirror. They cost the same, so this is not a trade-up. The hanging bottle starts working the moment it goes in; the spray waits until somebody decides they want it.
The short answer
Short answer: Yes, in the sense that matters: a keychain works outside the car and a car perfume only works inside it. SOSA car perfume is Rs 449 to Rs 509 at 12ml, sealed, with nothing to fit and nothing to explain, and the spray and the hanging bottle are the same price. No bulk rate is published; quantities go to WhatsApp on +91 96192 18531.
The pick: The spray, ₹449 to ₹509 - small enough for a glovebox, sealed until the customer wants it, and useless anywhere except the car, which is the point.
Why: It is handed over closed, it needs no demonstration, and the only place it makes sense is the one place you wanted it to end up.
A gift cannot change how somebody's week went, and a page that suggests otherwise is not worth reading. What a small parcel does is tell a person you were thinking about them on a day when nothing made you - which is a real thing to say, and worth saying. Keep it small, because a large one asks somebody already short of energy to produce a reaction, and send the words separately, because the object cannot carry them.
We want a gift customers can immediately put in the glovebox and use later, rather than another branded keychain. Is a car perfume spray more functional?
"More functional" is not quite the right test, and swapping it for a better one answers the question faster. A keychain is functional - it is just functional somewhere else. It leaves with the customer, lives in a pocket, and performs its entire job away from the vehicle. What you are asking for is an object whose function has an address inside the car, and a SOSA car perfume has exactly that. It is published at ₹449 for Jasmine, ₹479 for Sandalwood and Lavender, ₹489 for Icy Mint, ₹499 for Lemon, and ₹509 for Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver at 12ml, in two variants the store names plainly - Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw) - at the same price. For a glovebox the spray is the natural one: it goes in sealed, it waits, and it works when the owner decides rather than when you decided for them. A hanging bottle is a mirror object, not a glovebox object, and it starts the moment it is hung. Every SOSA car fragrance is alcohol-free, oil and water based, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India, and it adds a scent rather than doing anything to an existing one. Then the part to be straight about: SOSA publishes no bulk rate, no minimum quantity, no price break, no lead time and no per-unit cost. Bulk orders are welcome and quantities are settled on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531. A portion of every SOSA order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
The keychain is not failing on quality. It is failing on address - it does its whole job in a pocket, and a pocket is not where you wanted the object to be.
The glovebox answer: the spray, ₹449 to ₹509 - handed over sealed, opened when the customer wants it, and the same price as the hanging bottle.
Where the object sleeps, what it does when it wakes up, and what is not published
Three things separate a glovebox object from a pocket object, and only the first one is obvious.
1
Address
A keychain is useful. It is just useful somewhere you cannot reach.
Follow the branded keychain out of your door. It goes onto a keyring, the keyring goes into a pocket or a bag, and the keyring spends its life at front doors, in restaurants, on office desks and in coat pockets. Every function it has is performed in those places. The car is the one location where a keychain does almost nothing, because by the time the key is in the ignition the keychain is hanging still.
That is not a complaint about its quality. A well-made keyring is a good object. It is a complaint about geography, and geography is the only thing you were actually trying to control. You wanted something that keeps existing in the vehicle after the customer leaves, and you chose an object designed to leave with them.
So the test to apply to any candidate is blunt: where does this object perform its function? A pen performs it on paper. A bottle opener performs it in a kitchen. A power bank performs it at an airport as often as in a car. Very few giveaway objects have their function pinned to the cabin, and the ones that do are worth knowing by name.
Tip: Ask where the object does its job, not how good the object is. The answers are different questions.
2
Fate
What happens to a sealed 12ml bottle after it is handed over
It goes in closed. That is the quiet advantage and it is easy to miss. Nobody has to open it at the counter, nobody has to demonstrate it, and the customer is not standing there deciding whether they like it while you watch. It is small enough for a glovebox or a door pocket, and a glovebox is a place people already open - documents live there, so the object is seen again without you arranging for it to be seen.
Then form, and this is not a budget question. Both variants of every 12ml scent are published at the same price. Jasmine is ₹449 either way and Oud is ₹509 either way, and the store's names say what differs: Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw).
For the brief you described - put it away now, use it later - the spray is the one that matches. A spray is an object with an off state. It sits until somebody reaches for it, then it does exactly as much as they asked for and stops. A hanging bottle has no off state: it begins when it is hung and continues whether or not that was wanted this morning, and it occupies the mirror, which is the most looked-at object in an interior that is not yours.
Worth saying plainly while we are here: a fragrance adds a scent. It does not remove, neutralise, mask or purify a smell, and it does not clean the air in a cabin.
3
The honest part
What is not published, and the one question nobody can answer for you
There is no bulk rate, no minimum quantity, no price break, no lead time and no per-unit cost published anywhere. Bulk orders are genuinely welcome and the numbers are settled on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531. Bring your monthly volume and how you intend to hand these over.
Branding is exactly one thing: custom label or logo on product. That is real, and on this page it matters more than usual - if the point is that the object stays in the car, then the one branded surface that stays with it is the label. There is no custom box, no printed sleeve, no insert card and no ribbon.
SOSA does not publish how long a 12ml bottle lasts, in either form, for any scent. The exception is Mysore Orange Blossom, spray only, publishing about 100 sprays at 10ml (₹549) and about 500 sprays at 50ml (₹1,499). There is also no spray refill product at all, only a system described as in development; the 15ml refills belong to the hanging bottle.
And the question you are really asking underneath all of this: does an object that stays in the car do anything for your business? SOSA cannot tell you that customers will think of you, because no data on that is published by SOSA or by anybody else selling you a giveaway. What is knowable is the mechanism - the object has a home in the vehicle, it is used there, and it carries your label while it does. The rest is your judgement.
Tip: Bring your monthly volume to WhatsApp. There is no published figure to read beforehand.
The two variants, and why the price is not the question
Spray or Hanging - same product, same price, different control
The store publishes both forms of every 12ml scent and names them plainly: Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw). They cost the same - ₹449 for Jasmine up to ₹509 for Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver. So the decision is about two other things. Who decides when the scent happens: a spray sits in a glovebox until somebody picks it up; a hanging bottle works from the moment it goes in. And what stays visible: the hanging bottle hangs where the owner sees it, the spray does not. When the car belongs to your customer, those two usually settle it. Only Mysore Orange Blossom publishes a life: about 100 sprays at 10ml, about 500 at 50ml. No 12ml bottle publishes one, in either form.
How to replace the keychain without replacing the gesture
Ask of every candidate: where exactly does this object perform its function?
Rule out anything that needs opening, fitting or explaining at your counter.
Pick the spray for a glovebox; the hanging bottle is a mirror object.
Take your monthly volume to WhatsApp. No rate is published to read first.
The SOSA principle
A giveaway does not fail because it was cheap. It fails because its function lives somewhere you were never trying to reach, and a keyring's function lives in a pocket by design.
Change the address and almost everything else about the decision - the price, the branding, the handover - stays exactly where it was.
Which scent belongs in a glovebox, and what else the range holds
Eight scents, and for a glovebox gift chosen on somebody else's behalf, restraint beats range. Jasmine at ₹449 is soft and floral and hard to object to; Lemon at ₹499 is bright and clean and reads as tidy rather than perfumed, which suits a car somebody drives to work. Sandalwood at ₹479 is the warm middle ground. Oud at ₹509 is rich and woody, which makes it a strong choice for a customer whose taste you know and a gamble for one you do not. Mysore Orange Blossom at ₹549 is spray only and the only scent that publishes a spray count. All are alcohol-free, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India. If your counter is busy, holding two or three rather than all eight keeps the handover to a single sentence.
The SOSA gift edit
Four giveaways, and where each one spends its life
The option
Who it suits, and where it fails
A branded keychain · your current spend
Cheap, universally usable and immediately understood, which is why it is the default. It performs its entire function in a pocket, at a front door and on a desk - everywhere except the vehicle. Nothing wrong with it; it is simply solving a different problem from the one you described.
The spray · ₹449 to ₹509
Handed over sealed, small enough for a glovebox or door pocket, applied only when the owner decides, and useful nowhere except a car. It fails if your gesture needs to look substantial in the moment - a small closed bottle is quiet by design, and that is the trade you are making.
The hanging bottle · the same ₹449 to ₹509
Also lives in the car, but it is a mirror object rather than a glovebox object: it starts the moment it goes in and stays visible. It fails the brief you set, because you asked for something put away now and used later, and this one has no waiting state.
A branded pen or bottle opener · promotional catalogue
Inexpensive, easy to hand out in volume, and genuinely used. Like the keychain, it does its job away from the vehicle, and it competes with the several identical objects your customer already owns. It fails on address, not on quality.
What exists for handing out in quantity, and what does not
Sets, combos, refills - and the four things nobody publishes
For businesses handing something to a lot of customers, this is the honest inventory. The Car Perfume Discovery Set is three travel-size mini sprays in eight fixed curated trios, ₹699 to ₹899, with a Pack of 9 at ₹2,999. Combos pair two scents at ₹899 and ₹949. 15ml refills are ₹399 to ₹449 and they refill the hanging bottle. Now the gaps, because you are planning around them: the trios are fixed and a build-your-own set is not offered; no spray refill is published; no bulk rate, minimum, lead time or per-unit cost is published anywhere; and no cost per spray can honestly be given.Bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available - that is the one branding option. Quantities are settled on WhatsApp.
If a single bottle looks thin for the job, the range goes up rather than sideways. The Car Perfume Discovery Set is three travel-size mini sprays in eight fixed curated trios, ₹699 to ₹899, with a Pack of 9 at ₹2,999 - three small objects in one box, so the customer finds their own answer instead of being handed yours, and the trios are fixed rather than assembled on request. Combos pair two scents at ₹899 and ₹949. 15ml refills at ₹399 to ₹449 exist and they refill the hanging bottle. Above all of that, SOSA Safar at ₹3,999 is a cordless waterless diffuser with three speeds and a 1, 2 or 3-hour auto shut-off - roughly eight times a 12ml spray, and a device rather than a giveaway.
Published as Spray (Strong scent-throw). Applied when somebody decides to apply it, and nothing stays visible in the cabin afterwards. Eight scents, ₹449 to ₹509 at 12ml.
Published as Hanging (Mild scent-throw), and the same price as the spray. It runs continuously once it is in the car, and it is visible from the driver's seat.
Three travel-size mini sprays in one box, in eight fixed curated trios from ₹699 to ₹899, plus a Pack of 9 at ₹2,999. The trios are fixed and a build-your-own set is not offered.
from ₹699
The one published fact that settles most of this decision
Spray and Hanging are the same price. So the choice is never the money.
Every SOSA car scent is sold in two forms and the store names them plainly: Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw). They cost exactly the same - ₹449 for Jasmine, ₹479 for Sandalwood and Lavender, ₹489 for Icy Mint, ₹499 for Lemon, and ₹509 for Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver at 12ml. So the decision is not a budget decision at all. It is two other things. Who decides when the scent happens: a spray waits in a glovebox until somebody picks it up, while a hanging bottle starts working the moment it goes in and keeps working. And what stays visible: a hanging bottle hangs where the owner sees it, and a spray does not. For a business handing something to a customer, those two facts usually decide it on their own, because the car belongs to the customer and not to you. Every one of these is alcohol-free, oil and water based, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India. Only one scent publishes how long it lasts:Mysore Orange Blossom, spray only, about 100 sprays at 10ml for ₹549 and about 500 sprays at 50ml for ₹1,499. No 12ml bottle publishes a life, in either form.
Tell SOSA who it is for, roughly how big the room is, whether their home is already scented and what you want to spend - and you will be told which size and which scent, including the times the honest answer is the 50ml rather than the 130ml.
You are not choosing between a cheap gift and a better one. You are choosing whether the object spends the next six months in a pocket or in the car you just worked on.
— Sonal Sahani, SOSA
The SOSA gifting range
Two questions settle almost every reed diffuser gift, and the first one is not price. How big is the room it is going into? A 50ml suits a bedroom, a study, a hallway or a first diffuser; a 130ml suits an open-plan living and dining area, and it is genuinely too much for a small closed bedroom. Then: how much do you actually know about their taste? The less you know, the less declarative the scent should be - Morning Freshness is the safest of the five for a home you have never stood in, and Fresh Brew coffee-vanilla is the strongest opinion in the range. Price follows those two answers rather than leading them.
The SOSA car range, sorted by who controls when the scent happens
Start from control and visibility, not from the price
Eight scents at ₹449 to ₹509. Applied on demand by whoever is holding it, and it leaves nothing visible in the cabin - which is why it suits a car the giver does not own
₹3,999 - rechargeable, three speeds and a 1, 2 or 3-hour auto shut-off, so a driver controls when it runs. Imported rather than made in India
₹3,999
Spray and Hanging are the same product at the same price. The store publishes them as Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw), and the choice is scent-throw and who controls it, never budget. Every SOSA car fragrance is alcohol-free, oil and water based, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India. Fragrance adds a scent to a cabin; it does not remove, neutralise, mask or purify an odour, it does not clean the air, and it is not a substitute for cleaning a car. No spray refill is published - the 15ml refills are for the hanging bottle. Prices above are published retail prices; bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available, and quantities, rates and anything commercial are settled on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 rather than published here. SOSA is an Indian fragrance house based in Pune, sending orders across India. A portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
The honest spec sheet
What the SOSA car pages publish, and what they do not
Everything below is on the live product pages. Anything not on this list is not something a page like this should state.
Two forms, one price - Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw) are published as variants of the same 12ml product at the same price: Jasmine ₹449, Sandalwood and Lavender ₹479, Icy Mint ₹489, Lemon ₹499, and Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver ₹509. Every one also carries a 50ml spray at ₹1,499.
Composition - alcohol-free, oil and water based, phthalate-free, paraben-free, IFRA-compliant, formulated by Sonal Sahani, ISIPCA Versailles trained, and made in India.
The only published longevity - Mysore Orange Blossom, spray only: about 100 sprays at 10ml (₹549) and about 500 sprays at 50ml (₹1,499), published as about 50 days at two sprays a day and 3 months and above at one. No other scent publishes a spray count or a duration, and no 12ml bottle publishes a life in either form.
Sets and combos - the Discovery Set is three travel-size mini sprays in eight fixed trios, ₹699 to ₹899, with a Pack of 9 at ₹2,999. Combos are ₹899 and ₹949. The trios are fixed; a build-your-own set is not offered.
Not published, and therefore never stated here: any bulk rate, minimum quantity, slab, price break, lead time, turnaround or per-unit cost; any trade, partner or dealer programme; any cost per spray; how long a 12ml bottle lasts; and anything at all about what a gift does to customer retention, referrals or repeat business. Those go to WhatsApp +91 96192 18531.
Working out what to hand a customer, and how many? Tell SOSA on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 four things: what your business actually does, roughly how many customers a month you are talking about, whether you want the customer to control the scent or the car to carry it continuously, and what you want to spend per customer. You will get a straight answer rather than a catalogue. Bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available - that is the one branding option, and there is no custom box, sleeve, insert or printed packaging. What is not on this page, because SOSA does not publish it: any bulk rate, minimum quantity, price break, lead time or per-unit cost; any trade, partner or dealer programme; how long a 12ml bottle lasts in either form; any spray count for any scent except Mysore Orange Blossom; and any cost per spray. One thing worth knowing before you plan around it: the 15ml refills are for the hanging bottle, and no spray refill is published, so a spray is a sealed unit rather than a topped-up one. Where SOSA is: an Indian fragrance house based in Pune, sending orders across India, with no shop, stockist, counter or warehouse in any other city.

A note from Sonal
The enquiries that come from automotive businesses are refreshingly unsentimental. Nobody writes to me about the magic of a first drive. They write: we hand over ninety cars a month, we currently give a keychain, and we are fairly sure nobody keeps it. That is a good question, and it deserves a better answer than a brochure.
So here is the part I would want you to take away, and it is the only part that is actually a fact. The spray and the hanging bottle are the same product at the same price. Jasmine is ₹449 either way. Oud is ₹509 either way. That surprises people, because they assume one must be the upgrade. Neither is. What you are choosing between is who decides when the scent happens and whether anything stays visible in the cabin - and when the car belongs to your customer rather than to you, those two questions usually answer themselves.
The part I will not pretend about is the part most of these enquiries are really asking. I cannot tell you that a gift brings anybody back. Nobody selling you a gift can, and the ones who say they can are selling you something else. What I can tell you is the mechanism: a small bottle goes into a car, it does not need fitting or explaining, it works the same in a hatchback and in a seven-seater, and if the customer likes it they will use it where they spend an hour a day. What that is worth to your business is your judgement, not mine.
And the honest gaps, because you are planning around them. There is no published bulk rate, no minimum, no lead time and no per-unit cost - not because they are secret but because they are settled properly in a conversation, and a page that invented them would be lying to you. Custom label or logo on product is real, and it is the only branding there is.
Frequently asked questions
Is a car perfume genuinely more useful to a customer than a keychain?
It is more useful in the one location you care about. A keychain is a good object that performs its function in a pocket, at a front door and on a desk. A spray performs its function only inside a cabin. If your brief is an object that stays in the vehicle and gets used there, that is a decision about address rather than about which object is better made.
Why the spray rather than the hanging bottle for a glovebox?
Because a glovebox is a waiting place and a spray is an object that waits. It goes in sealed and does nothing until the owner reaches for it. A hanging bottle is designed for the mirror and begins working the moment it is hung, so it does not match a brief that says put it away now and use it later. Both are the same 12ml product at the same price.
Is the hanging bottle the paid upgrade over the spray?
No. Both variants of every 12ml scent are published at exactly the same price - Rs 449 for Jasmine, Rs 479 for Sandalwood and Lavender, Rs 489 for Icy Mint, Rs 499 for Lemon and Rs 509 for Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver. The store names them Spray for strong scent-throw and Hanging for mild scent-throw. Scent-throw and control are the difference, and budget is not part of it.
Can we put our logo on the bottle so it carries our name in the glovebox?
Custom label or logo on product is available, and it is the one branding option there is. There is no custom box, no printed sleeve, no insert card and no ribbon, so any presentation around the bottle is yours to arrange. Discuss the label together with quantities on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531, because no rate for either is published.
How much use will one bottle give before it is finished?
SOSA does not publish how long a 12ml bottle lasts, in the spray or the hanging form, for any of the eight scents. The one exception is Mysore Orange Blossom, which is spray only and publishes approximately 100 sprays in the 10ml at Rs 549 and approximately 500 sprays in the 50ml at Rs 1,499. Do not let those figures be applied to the other scents, and note there is no spray refill product at all.
Take the next step
Pick the form that matches the brief, then settle numbers on WhatsApp
The spray at ₹449 to ₹509 for a glovebox gift that waits until the customer wants it. The hanging bottle at the same price if you would rather the scent start the moment they drive away. What is not published, and is therefore not stated here: how long a 12ml bottle lasts in either form; any spray count or duration for any scent other than Mysore Orange Blossom; any cost per spray; any bulk rate, minimum quantity, slab, price break, lead time, turnaround or per-unit cost; any trade, partner or dealer programme; and any spray refill, since the 15ml refills are published for the hanging bottle. Limits of this guide: fragrance adds a scent to a cabin. It does not remove, neutralise, mask or purify an odour, it does not clean the air, and it is never a substitute for cleaning a vehicle. No claim is made anywhere on this page about mood, stress, calm, alertness or wellbeing, nor about the safety of any product for children, pregnant passengers, elderly passengers or pets, nor about flammability, nor about how any customer or passenger will feel. No claim is made about business outcomes. Nothing on this page states or implies that a gift increases customer retention, referrals, repeat business, reviews, recall or sales; SOSA publishes no data of that kind and none is invented here. No competitor is named or characterised, and no rating, review count or customer name from any product page is cited. Bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available; that is the only branding option, and quantities are settled on WhatsApp. SOSA Home & Body is an Indian fragrance house based in Pune, Maharashtra, sending orders across India, with no shop, showroom, stockist, counter or warehouse in any other city. Prices and availability are subject to change - see the live product pages.
