Smooth and smoky are two very different roads for an oud to take, and you have told me which one you want. You want the creamy, polished, luxurious face of oud, not the campfire. There is one attar oil in my range that is built for exactly that. Let me name it, then explain what makes an oud smooth in the first place.
Buy Nawaab, our white royal oud attar oil. It is the creamy, smooth, polished oud, not the smoky one. Start with the 3ml at ₹399.
What makes an oud smooth instead of smoky
The difference is mostly about which oud you start with and what you put around it. A smoky oud leans on dark, raw, heavily-distilled agarwood that naturally carries an ashy, burnt, campfire facet. A smooth oud does the opposite. It begins with a clean, bright white oud and surrounds it with creamy, rounded woods so the depth is all there but the sharp edges are sanded off.
Nawaab is composed exactly that way. The white royal oud gives you the resinous, expensive oud heart. Mysore sandalwood lays a creamy, milky woodiness underneath it, which is the single biggest reason it feels smooth on skin. And Kashmir saffron adds a soft, suede-like glow rather than any harshness. Put together, it wears like polished wood, not like a bonfire.

Two alternates, and when to choose them
If you want smooth and even softer, with a touch of rose, choose Ameeri (₹385), a soft oudh with Taif rose and sandalwood. And if what you really mean by smooth is dry and clean rather than rich, look at Khayaal (₹599), a bergamot, black tea and amberwood oil with no oud and no smoke, smooth in a bright, modern way. Khayaal is SOSA's own interpretation inspired by Louis Vuitton Imagination. SOSA is an independent house and is not affiliated with or endorsed by these brands.
₹385 / 3mlSOSA Ameeri — Taif Rose + Indian Sandalwood + Persian Saffron + Soft Oudh, the softest oud. Also 6ml ₹679, 12ml ₹1,165. ₹599 / 10mlSOSA Khayaal — Bergamot + Black Tea + Amberwood, the smooth dry-woody alternate. Also 50ml ₹1,899, 100ml ₹3,599.How it wears
Nawaab is a concentrated, alcohol-free attar oil, so it stays close to the skin, a foot or two, rather than projecting across a room. For a smooth scent you want to feel like a second skin, that closeness is the whole point, and it lasts a genuine 8 to 10-plus hours from a single dab. Size up to the 6ml or 12ml if you want a fuller evening presence.
An honest note
To be clear, Nawaab is the modern, refined style of oud. If you are quietly hoping for a raw, smoky, traditional oud, this is not that, on purpose. But you asked for smooth, and smooth is precisely what it does best.
