Rooms are a plan drawing; air is the thing scent actually travels through. A three bedroom flat where the hall, living room and passage are open to one another is one body of air, and a Vaayu rated to 1000m³ covers it from one point. That is better than a strong burst before guests, because scent that is still arriving reads as staged while scent that has settled reads as the smell of the house.
