This is the machine-level guide: the numbers on the SOSA Vaayu, what each one means for a launch, and the settings to use in each space on the day. Read it as a specification sheet with the launch decisions already made, and hand the last section to whoever opens the venue on the morning.
Quick answers — read this first
How do I set up a SOSA Vaayu for a real estate project launch? Place one machine per enclosed volume up to 1000m³, about 2,000-3,000 sq ft, three to four metres inside the entrance on the inward air path. Fill the 400ml tank, set a 4h timer at medium intensity starting 45 minutes before doors for the launch floor, and an 8h timer at low intensity for the sales gallery. Engage the key-lock before doors open. The Vaayu is ₹11,999 and runs under 38dB on a 5W supply.

What intensity should a SOSA Vaayu run at during a launch event? Medium in a launch space, low in a sales gallery, lowest in a sample flat, all on the same fragrance. A crowded warm hall amplifies fragrance, so set it one step below what feels right during an empty afternoon setup. The SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999) has adjustable intensity and a Bluetooth app, so the level can be changed from across the room.

How long does a SOSA Vaayu tank last at a launch and afterwards? A 400ml fill lasts up to about 75 days depending on intensity and run hours. A four-hour launch event uses a small fraction of one tank, and at sales gallery hours of around eight hours a day, one fill typically runs for weeks. The machine is ₹11,999 and the ongoing cost is a handful of refills a year.
The short answer
Short answer: one SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999) per enclosed volume up to 1000m³, about 2,000-3,000 sq ft, placed three to four metres inside the entrance, filled with 400ml lasting up to 75 days, running medium intensity on a 4h timer from 45 minutes before doors at the launch and low intensity on an 8h timer in the gallery, with the key-lock engaged; a hall of 8,000-10,000 sq ft is a SOSA Angaan (₹25,999).
The pick: the SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999) as the standard launch machine for every space up to about 3,000 sq ft, with the SOSA Angaan (₹25,999) as the one step up when a single hall is 8,000-10,000 sq ft.
Next step: send us your spaces and launch date and we will send back a one-page settings sheet for your site team - book a free scenting plan.
SOSA Vaayu launch settings - the numbers that matterCoverage 1000m³ - about 2,000-3,000 sq ft per machineTank 400ml - up to 75 days, so one fill covers the launch seasonLaunch floor: medium intensity, 4h timer, from 45 min before doorsGallery: low intensity, 8h timer, from 30 min before openingSample flat: lowest intensity, 8h timer, key-lock on
Five numbers cover almost every launch. Coverage decides the count, the tank decides the refill cycle, and the three settings lines are what you hand to whoever is on site so nobody has to make a decision on launch morning.

Straight answer
How do I set up a SOSA Vaayu for a real estate project launch, from unboxing to launch morning?
Start with the five numbers on the SOSA Vaayu (₹11,999), because they answer every planning question you have. Coverage 1000m³, described as about 2,000-3,000 sq ft: this decides the count, one machine per enclosed volume, measured length by width by height. Tank 400ml, up to 75 days: this decides the refill cycle, and it means the fill you use for pre-launch testing usually carries the event and the first weeks of the gallery. Under 38dB: this is why it disappears under a speech or a live mic, helped by the fact that it is waterless with no misting or bubbling. 0.9kg at 165 x 80.5 x 215mm on DC 12V/1A, 5W: this is why it installs anywhere with a socket, freestanding on a plinth, wall-mounted or HVAC-mounted where you own the building. Timers of 1h/4h/8h/24h with adjustable intensity, plus auto-stop and a key-lock: this is your run schedule and your protection in a public room. Now the setup. Place the machine three to four metres inside the entrance on the inward air path, near the air-conditioning supply and never at a propped-open door, because launch doors stay open and a machine at the threshold scents the driveway. Fill the tank at least 48 hours before so the space runs in. Set the launch space to medium intensity on a 4h timer starting 45 minutes before doors, and the sales gallery to low intensity on an 8h timer from half an hour before opening; the sample flat runs at the lowest setting on site. Engage the key-lock before doors open. After the launch, the same machine moves into the gallery and keeps running - it is not event equipment. The one limit worth stating plainly: above about 3,000 sq ft in a single volume, this is the wrong machine and the SOSA Angaan (₹25,999) at 3,000m³ is the right one. A free scenting plan will return a one-page settings sheet for your site team, and a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
Coverage decides the count, the tank decides the refills, and three settings lines - medium and 4h at the launch, low and 8h in the gallery, lowest in the sample flat - decide the day.
The SOSA Vaayu in five numbers: 1000m³ coverage (about 2,000-3,000 sq ft), 400ml lasting up to 75 days, under 38dB, 0.9kg on a 5W supply, and 1h/4h/8h/24h app timers with adjustable intensity, auto-stop and a key-lock. CE, RoHS and SGS certified, made in India.

Setting up the Vaayu for a launch, step by step

Three steps from box to launch morning, and none of them needs a technician or a decision on the day itself.

1
Count and place
One per enclosed volume, three to four metres inside the entrance
Measure each enclosed space by length, width and height, divide by 1000m³, and that is your Vaayu count. Place each machine on the inward air path - beside the air-conditioning supply and a few metres in from the door - rather than at the entrance itself, because launch doors are propped open for hours and a machine at the threshold sends fragrance outside. At 0.9kg it stands on a plinth or console at the venue, and once you are in the gallery it can be wall-mounted or HVAC-mounted permanently.
Tip: never at the door, always a few metres inside it, on the air coming in.
SOSA Vaayu
The Vaayu covers 1000m³, about 2,000-3,000 sq ft, and mounts freestanding, on a wall or on HVAC.

2
Fill and program
48 hours ahead, so the room is run in before anybody arrives
Fill the 400ml tank two days before, not on the morning. That fill lasts up to about 75 days depending on intensity and run hours, so it will carry the launch and weeks of gallery running afterwards. Then set the schedule in the app: 4h at medium for a launch space starting 45 minutes before doors, 8h at low for a sales gallery starting half an hour before opening, and the lowest setting for a sample flat. Engage the key-lock once the settings are right. The app runs over Bluetooth from a phone in the room, so venue wifi is irrelevant, and the onboard buttons are the fallback.
SOSA Angaan
If one of your volumes needs the Angaan instead, it uses programmable schedules and an 800ml reservoir on the same principle.
See SOSA Angaan →
3
Run on afterwards
The launch settings become gallery settings the next morning
When the event is over, the machine does not go into storage. Move it into the sales gallery, drop the intensity one step, change the timer from the 4h event run to an 8h gallery day, and leave the key-lock on. Record the fragrance name and the settings in the project file so they survive a change of site team, and note the refill interval - at gallery hours a 400ml fill usually needs replacing every couple of months, which is the entire ongoing cost of the system.
Tip: the launch settings sheet becomes the gallery settings sheet with two lines changed.
SOSA Vaayu
The Vaayu holds 1h, 4h, 8h and 24h schedules, so moving from event mode to gallery mode is one change in the app.

The SOSA principle
Give your site team a settings sheet rather than a machine. The specification is easy; the discipline of not adjusting it is the hard part.
Coverage, tank, noise, weight, timers. Five numbers plan an entire launch.
SOSA Angaan
One size up: SOSA Angaan covers 3,000m³ - about 8,000-10,000 sq ft - with an 800ml reservoir, metal body and programmable schedules, for a launch hall beyond the Vaayu's rating, ₹25,999.

Two decisions sit outside this specification. The first is which fragrance runs in the machine, which is covered in the best signature fragrance for a luxury property launch and matters more than any setting on this page. The second is whether the Vaayu is the right machine for your particular launch at all - the suitability guide answers the procurement objections directly, including where the answer is honestly no. For the ongoing space this machine ends up in, see the pillar guide on planning scenting for a luxury real estate sales gallery.

The specification is the easy half. The other half is writing the settings down so that in year two the gallery still smells the way it did on launch night.

The SOSA Vaayu launch specification

One machine and its step-up. The Vaayu covers every launch space up to 1000m³ - the launch floor, the foyer, the gallery and the sample flat - at ₹11,999 each; the Angaan takes a single hall of 8,000-10,000 sq ft. Both are waterless with no heat, dampness or residue, both are made in India, and a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.

A quick word on using this guide: the count comes from cubic metres, the settings come from the table above, and the only thing that should ever change between launch night and year two is the intensity. One honest note - fragrance works alongside ventilation and cleaning, cannot cover fresh paint, adhesive or damp, and SOSA makes no claim that scent influences a purchase decision. A note from Sonal

Most product guides are written to make a machine sound impressive. This one is written so that whoever unlocks your venue at seven on launch morning does not have to make a single decision. That is genuinely the design goal: five numbers to plan with, three lines of settings to follow, and a lock so nobody improvises after that.

The five numbers on the Vaayu are 1000m³ of coverage, a 400ml tank lasting up to 75 days, under 38dB of noise, 0.9kg on a 5W supply, and timers of 1, 4, 8 and 24 hours with adjustable intensity. Between them they answer how many machines you need, how often you refill, whether it will be heard, where it can stand, and how it runs. Above about 3,000 sq ft in a single volume, none of those numbers help and the honest answer is an Angaan at 3,000m³ instead.

The honest part, as always: this machine cannot cover a construction smell and it will not sell an apartment. Fresh paint, adhesive, new flooring and damp need ventilation, cleaning and time, fragrance works alongside those rather than instead of them, and we make no claim that scent influences a purchase decision. Our hotel-inspired fragrances are our own original interpretations and SOSA is independent, not affiliated with any hotel. Everything is made in India, and a portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.

Frequently asked questions

What area does one SOSA Vaayu cover at a launch?
Up to 1000 cubic metres, which the product page describes as about 2,000 to 3,000 sq ft at a normal ceiling height. Measure each enclosed space by length, width and height and divide by 1000 to get the machine count. A single volume larger than that is a SOSA Angaan at Rs 25,999 rather than several Vaayu units.
What timer and intensity should be used on launch day?
Medium intensity on a 4 hour timer for the launch space, starting 45 minutes before doors, and low intensity on an 8 hour timer for the sales gallery from half an hour before opening. The sample flat runs at the lowest setting on site. All of it is set in the Bluetooth app during setup, with onboard buttons as a fallback.
How long does a 400ml tank last?
Up to about 75 days depending on intensity and run hours. A four-hour launch event uses a small fraction of one fill, and at sales gallery hours of roughly eight hours a day a tank typically lasts weeks, so the ongoing cost is a handful of refills a year.
How is the Vaayu mounted at a venue and in a sales gallery?
Freestanding at a hired venue, since it is 0.9kg and 165 by 80.5 by 215mm on a 5 watt supply and needs only a socket and a flat surface. In a gallery you control, it can be wall-mounted or HVAC-mounted permanently, out of reach, with the key-lock engaged.
Is the Vaayu certified for use in a public space?
It is CE, RoHS and SGS certified, waterless with no heat or steam, and has auto-stop and a key-lock designed for public spaces. That combination is normally what a venue safety walkthrough or a legal team asks to see before a launch event.
