The instinct at this scale is to design three gifting lines, one per occasion. Resist it. Three occasions do not need three products. They need one product and three moments. A hanging car perfume at ₹449 to ₹509 works as the standing object for referrals and renewals alike, with a single step up to a combo at ₹899 to ₹949 for the small group of customers who genuinely warrant it. What breaks programmes at annual scale is almost never the unit price - it is variant count, explanation and admin. And one thing has to be said straight away: SOSA publishes no rate at quantity, no minimum, no slab, no lead time and no recurring-supply programme. All of that is a WhatsApp conversation.
The kind of object a two-line programme is built on. SOSA Lavender hanging car perfume, ₹479 for 12ml - mild in the hanging format, available as the stronger spray at exactly the same ₹479, and requiring nothing to be explained by whoever hands it over. The published band across all eight hanging scents is ₹449 to ₹509.
Quick answers — read this first
How should a business gift to thousands of car owners a year? With one product and three moments rather than three products. A SOSA hanging car perfume at ₹449 to ₹509 can be the standing object for referrals and renewals, with a two-scent combo at ₹899 to ₹949 as the single step up for a small top group. Fewer lines is the whole design principle.
Does SOSA publish anything for gifting at annual scale? Retail prices and a WhatsApp number. No bulk rate, no minimum order quantity, no slab, no lead time and no recurring-supply programme is published anywhere. You can do your own arithmetic against your current gifting line from the published prices, and everything to do with quantity is settled on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531.
What breaks a gifting programme at that scale? Four things, and unit price is not among them: too many variants to reorder, a product somebody has to explain at the desk, presentation that reads as merchandise, and a gift nobody would buy for themselves. A programme that fails usually fails on admin rather than on the object.
The short answer
Short answer: Use one product across three moments rather than three products. A SOSA hanging car perfume at Rs 449 to Rs 509 can serve referrals and renewals, with a two-scent combo at Rs 899 to Rs 949 as a single step up for a small top group. SOSA publishes no rate at quantity, no minimum, no slab, no lead time and no recurring-supply programme, so all of that is settled on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531.
The pick: A mild hanging from ₹449 in two scents as the standing object, plus a combo at ₹899 to ₹949 for the one group that needs a visible step up.
Why: Two lines are reorderable by one person without a meeting, need no explanation at the desk, and keep the occasion rather than the object doing the differentiating.
A gift cannot change how somebody's week went, and a page that suggests otherwise is not worth reading. What a small parcel does is tell a person you were thinking about them on a day when nothing made you - which is a real thing to say, and worth saying. Keep it small, because a large one asks somebody already short of energy to produce a reaction, and send the words separately, because the object cannot carry them.
We serve thousands of car owners a year. How should we approach a scalable gifting product for referrals, renewals and high-value customers?
Start by separating the occasion from the object, because conflating them is what produces a three-line programme that nobody can administer by March. Three occasions do not require three products. What distinguishes a referral thank-you from a renewal acknowledgement is when it arrives, who hands it over and what is said - not whether the bottle is different. The published prices you would be working from are Jasmine ₹449, Sandalwood and Lavender ₹479, Icy Mint ₹489, Lemon ₹499, and Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver ₹509, with two-scent combos at ₹899 to ₹949 and a Discovery Set at ₹699 to ₹899. Those are retail prices and they are the only numbers this page can give you, which brings us to the part most procurement pages fudge. SOSA publishes no bulk rate, no per-unit rate at quantity, no minimum order quantity, no slab, no price break, no lead time, no payment term and no recurring-supply programme. There is a fragrance house in Pune and a WhatsApp number. Work out your own arithmetic against whatever you currently spend per occasion, then settle quantities, labels and timing on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 before you commit to any date. Bulk orders are welcome. A portion of every SOSA order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
Differentiate the moment, not the merchandise. A referral and a renewal are different events; they do not need different bottles to prove it.
The two-line programme: a mild hanging from ₹449 as the standing object across occasions, and a combo at ₹899 to ₹949 for the small group that warrants a visible step up. Everything to do with quantity is a WhatsApp conversation.
Building one programme that survives three occasions and a full year
At annual scale the design problem is not which gift is nicest. It is which programme is still running in month nine, when the person who set it up is busy and the person reordering it has never read the brief.
1
The design principle
One product, three moments
The three occasions genuinely are different, and that is the trap. A referral is unpredictable and individual; a renewal is scheduled and comes in waves; a high-value customer is a small named list somebody already maintains. Because the occasions feel different, the instinct is to buy three different things.
What actually differentiates them is everything except the object. Timing differentiates them. Who hands it over differentiates them. What gets said differentiates them - a referral thank-you is specific and personal, a renewal acknowledgement is brief, a top-customer gesture is deliberate. You can run all three on the same hanging car perfume at ₹449 to ₹509 and nobody will experience them as the same event.
Where a second line is genuinely earned is the top group, because a visible step up needs to be visible. A combo at ₹899 to ₹949 is two bottles rather than a dearer version of one, which is the only kind of step up people actually notice. Two lines. That is the whole programme.
Tip: Two lines is a programme. Five lines is a project nobody finishes.
2
The failure modes
What actually kills a gifting programme in month nine
None of the four common causes is the unit price, which is why budget meetings tend to fix the wrong thing.
Too many variants. Eight scents across three occasions is twenty-four combinations to track, reorder and allocate. Somebody will run out of the popular one in a busy month and substitute something nobody chose.
A product that needs explaining. Anything requiring thirty seconds of instruction at the counter is an object your front-line team will quietly stop giving out. A hanging perfume has the advantage of needing nothing said about it at all.
Presentation that reads as merchandise. The moment a gift looks like promotional material it becomes promotional material, which is a genuine argument for thinking carefully before putting a logo on something that lives in a customer's private car.
A gift nobody would buy for themselves. The honest test. Car fragrance passes it for plenty of people and fails it for the ones who already keep their own, and no programme design makes that failure go away.

The unpublished part
What you have to settle yourself, and where
Be clear-eyed about the gap before you build a plan on top of it. SOSA publishes a retail catalogue and a WhatsApp number. It does not publish a single commercial term. No bulk rate. No minimum order quantity. No slab. No price break. No lead time or timing window. No payment or credit terms. No recurring-supply programme, no standing-order scheme and no partner arrangement of any kind.
What you can do without asking anybody is the arithmetic. Take your current cost per occasion, multiply it by your real annual volume across the three occasions, and compare it against the ₹449 to ₹509 list. That calculation is entirely public and it will tell you quickly whether this category is even in range for you.
What you cannot do is plan a date around anything. If a renewal wave has to be covered in a particular month, that is a conversation on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 before you commit to it, not an assumption. Bulk orders are welcome, and no quantity is too small or too large to ask about. There is simply no number this page is permitted to invent.
Tip: Do your own arithmetic from the list, then settle everything else on WhatsApp.
The decision this whole category turns on
Hanging or spray is a scent-throw choice, not a budget choice
Every SOSA car scent is sold in two formats at the same price: the hanging is the mild scent-throw, the spray is the stronger one. Jasmine is ₹449 either way, Lemon ₹499 either way, Oud ₹509 either way. So the question is never which one you can afford - it is who controls the dose. Hand a car to somebody whose taste you have never asked about and the mild hanging is the safer object, because a person who finds a sealed car too loud cannot turn a scent down, only take it out.
Designing a year-round programme in about fifteen minutes
Write the three occasions down, then refuse to give each one its own product.
Take one standing object at Rs 449 to Rs 509 for referrals and renewals.
Add one step up, a combo at Rs 899 to Rs 949, for a short named top list.
Do your own arithmetic, then settle quantity and timing on WhatsApp first.
The SOSA principle
A gifting programme is not judged by the gift. It is judged by whether it is still being administered correctly in month nine by somebody who was not in the room when it was designed.
Which is why the good version has two lines and no explanation attached, and the version that collapses has one product per occasion and a spreadsheet nobody owns.
How few scents a year-round programme should actually carry
Scent count is the single most underestimated cost in a programme like this, because it shows up in admin rather than on the invoice. Two is usually right, three at most, chosen so they do not overlap.Lemon at ₹499 and Icy Mint at ₹489 are the two least likely to be disliked by somebody who did not choose them, and they are different enough from each other to feel like a choice rather than a duplicate. Jasmine at ₹449 is the lowest-priced and the most conventionally pleasant. Sandalwood and Lavender at ₹479 read as considered, which suits the top-customer moment. Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver at ₹509 have the strongest character and are the worst defaults for a list of people nobody has asked. Mysore Orange Blossom at ₹549 is a spray only and has no hanging version, which makes it an awkward addition to a hanging programme.
The SOSA gift edit
Four ways to structure the programme, and how each one behaves over a year
The option
Who it suits, and where it fails
One scent, one format, every occasion · ₹449 to ₹509
The simplest thing that works. One line to reorder, nothing to allocate and no decision at the counter. Its weakness is the top-customer moment, where the same object as everybody else received is exactly what a high-value customer notices. Fine if your top list is short enough to handle another way.
Two scents, one format, tiered by occasion · the workable default
Two lines, both reorderable by one person, and a small amount of visible difference without anyone running a fragrance consultation. Watch the temptation to let the second scent become three, which is how a two-line programme turns into a five-line one over a year.
One hanging plus one combo · ₹449 to ₹509 and ₹899 to ₹949
The version this page recommends at annual scale. The step up is visible because it is two bottles rather than a dearer bottle, and the combo list stays short by definition. Both formats of a combo cost the same, so the choice there is still scent-throw and not budget.
A different product for each occasion · the instinct
Feels thorough in the planning meeting and is the version most likely to be abandoned. Three lines means three reorder cycles, three explanations and three ways to run short in the same week. The occasions do not become more distinct; the administration just becomes harder.
What happens after the gift
The 15ml refill is bigger than the 12ml bottle and costs less than a new unit
Refills run ₹399 for Lemon and Jasmine, ₹429 for Sandalwood, Lavender and Icy Mint, and ₹449 for Sea Breeze, Vetiver and Oud - against ₹449 to ₹509 for the unit itself. This matters for one honest reason and not the flattering one: a gift that can be continued without being sold to is a different object from a gift that simply runs out. Whether anybody continues it is up to them, and no supplier can promise you they will.
One published mechanism is worth building into the design rather than discovering later. 15ml refills run ₹399 for Lemon and Jasmine, ₹429 for Sandalwood, Lavender and Icy Mint, and ₹449 for Sea Breeze, Vetiver and Oud - larger than the 12ml bottle and cheaper than buying the unit again. They fit the hanging format, not the spray. For a programme that matters in one specific way: a recipient who liked what you gave them has an obvious continuation they can find without anybody selling it to them, and that continuation only exists if you chose the hanging. It is not a loyalty mechanism and no page should describe it as one. It is simply a product that has somewhere to go next, and whether anyone takes it up is not something a supplier can tell you.
The lowest-priced hanging in the range at ₹449, and the reason most per-car budgets get built around this number. Available as the mild hanging or the stronger spray at the same ₹449.
Eight scents from ₹399. The refill is 15ml against the 12ml bottle it refills, and costs less than buying the unit again - so the person who was given one can carry on without being sold to.
Three sprays from ₹699, or all nine at ₹2,999. The honest answer when the recipient's taste is genuinely unknown: let them find out rather than guessing on their behalf.
from ₹699
When one particular car is not part of the programme
SOSA Safar ₹3,999 for a car, SOSA Vaayu ₹11,999 for the building it is parked at
Safar is the waterless, cordless, rechargeable cold-diffusion perfume diffuser for a car or a travel bag - ₹3,999 for the SOSA-scent trios and ₹4,499 for the hotel-inspired trios. It is not a volume gift and should not be described as one; it is what a business reaches for when a single handover genuinely warrants it. Vaayu is the same waterless idea sized for a building: cold-air nebulising of undiluted oil, rated for approximately 1000 m3 of connected air, with a Bluetooth app and timer, a 400ml tank, freestanding or wall and HVAC mounting, DC 12V / 1A 5W mains power and CE, RoHS and SGS marks - which makes it a showroom or workshop question rather than a gifting one. Both run waterless nebuliser oil at ₹1,049 for 100 gm and ₹1,849 for 300 gm, and neither takes the ₹299 water-based Hotel Collection bottle. No runtime, battery life or coverage figure is published for Safar. Both add a scent to a space; neither removes one.
Tell SOSA who it is for, roughly how big the room is, whether their home is already scented and what you want to spend - and you will be told which size and which scent, including the times the honest answer is the 50ml rather than the 130ml.
The programme that survives a year is not the clever one. It is the one a busy person can reorder correctly without reading anything, which almost always means fewer lines than the planning meeting wanted.
— Sonal Sahani, SOSA
The SOSA gifting range
Two questions settle almost every reed diffuser gift, and the first one is not price. How big is the room it is going into? A 50ml suits a bedroom, a study, a hallway or a first diffuser; a 130ml suits an open-plan living and dining area, and it is genuinely too much for a small closed bedroom. Then: how much do you actually know about their taste? The less you know, the less declarative the scent should be - Morning Freshness is the safest of the five for a home you have never stood in, and Fresh Brew coffee-vanilla is the strongest opinion in the range. Price follows those two answers rather than leading them.
The SOSA car fragrance range
Choose the format on scent-throw first, because it does not change the price
Worn rather than driven, and a taste decision - only when somebody can name what the recipient already wears

Every price above is the published retail price on the live SOSA product page, which is what any business should build its own arithmetic on. SOSA does not publish a bulk rate, a minimum order quantity, a slab, a dispatch window or any commercial term, and nothing on this page should be read as one. Bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available; quantities and everything commercial are settled on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 rather than priced on a page. SOSA is an Indian fragrance house based in Pune and sends orders across India. A portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
The honest price sheet
What SOSA publishes, and what SOSA does not
Everything below is on the live product pages. Anything not on this list is not something a page like this should state.
The same scents as sprays, at the same price. Hanging is the mild scent-throw, spray is the stronger one, and they cost the same - so the choice is about who controls the dose, not about money. Mysore Orange Blossom ₹549 is a spray only and has no hanging format.
Combos and sets - two-scent combos ₹899 to ₹949, the Discovery Set of three sprays ₹699 to ₹899, all nine sprays ₹2,999, and 50ml sprays ₹1,499. SOSA Safar ₹3,999, or ₹4,499 for the hotel-inspired trios.
Duration - the only car product publishing a figure is Mysore Orange Blossom: 10ml is about 100 sprays lasting about 3 months, 50ml is about 500 sprays lasting about a year or more. Those numbers belong to that spray and to nothing else. No duration is published for the hanging format.
Not published, and therefore never stated here: any bulk rate, minimum order quantity, slab or volume discount; any dispatch, delivery or cut-off timing; any payment, invoicing or credit term; case packs, carton sizes or unit weights; any claim that a gift will change a customer's behaviour, a survey score or a repeat rate; and any claim that a fragrance removes, neutralises or purifies anything. Those go to WhatsApp +91 96192 18531.
Buying for a business rather than for one person? Tell SOSA on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 four things: roughly how many vehicles or people a month, whether the recipient chooses the scent or you do, whether you want the mild hanging or the stronger spray, and whether the label needs to carry your logo. You will get one straight answer rather than a catalogue. What is not on this page, because SOSA does not publish it: any bulk rate, any minimum order quantity, any slab or volume discount, any dispatch or delivery timing, and any payment or invoicing term. Bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available - that is the whole of the branding offer, and there is no custom box, printed sleeve, insert card, gift wrap or hamper. There is no dealer, partner or reseller programme; everything commercial is a conversation on WhatsApp. Bespoke composition, a fragrance composed for you by Sonal, is a real SOSA service and is also discussed there. Where SOSA is: SOSA is an Indian fragrance house based in Pune and sends orders across India. There is no SOSA shop, stockist, counter or warehouse in any other city, so anything here about Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mysuru or anywhere else is about the businesses and the cars in those cities and not about a local branch.

ISIPCA Versailles
A note from Sonal
The businesses that write to SOSA about car fragrance almost never open with a question about fragrance. They open with a question about a drawer. Somebody ordered five hundred of something last year, and most of it is still sitting in a drawer at the back of the showroom, and nobody wants to repeat that.
What makes a car product different from the keychain and the diary is not that it is nicer. It is that there is nowhere to put it away. A hanging perfume is hanging. It is not in a bag to be taken home and forgotten; it is in the one enclosed space the person is going to sit in tomorrow morning. That is an argument about geometry rather than about generosity, and it is the only argument for this category I am willing to make.
The thing I would push back on hardest is the instinct to buy the strongest one. When you are choosing on somebody else's behalf, and you will never meet most of them, the mild hanging is the correct choice and it costs exactly the same as the spray. A person who finds a scent too loud in a sealed car cannot turn it down; they can only take it out. Quiet is what lets a gift survive contact with a stranger's taste.
And the part I will not pretend about: I cannot tell you this will bring anyone back. No fragrance house can honestly tell a business what a gift will do to its numbers. What I can tell you is what the product is, what it costs, and what happens when somebody likes it enough to buy the refill themselves - which is the only loyalty any of us actually earns.
Frequently asked questions
How should we structure automotive gifting across referrals, renewals and top customers?
One product and three moments, rather than three products. A hanging car perfume at Rs 449 to Rs 509 can carry referrals and renewals, with a two-scent combo at Rs 899 to Rs 949 as a single visible step up for a short top list. The occasions are differentiated by timing, by who hands the gift over and by what is said, not by the object.
Does anything change on price at annual volume?
Nothing is published. SOSA lists retail prices and a WhatsApp number, and there is no bulk rate, no minimum order quantity, no slab, no price break, no lead time and no payment term printed anywhere. Bulk orders are welcome and no quantity is too small or too large to ask about. Message SOSA on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531.
Is there a recurring supply arrangement for a year-round programme?
Not one that is published. There is no standing-order scheme, no annual agreement, no dealer or reseller arrangement and no partner tier. What exists is a fragrance house in Pune and a WhatsApp number, so a programme that needs regular replenishment should raise that on WhatsApp early rather than assume a process exists.
How many scents should a year-round programme carry?
Two, or three at the most, chosen so they do not overlap. Scent count is the cost that never appears on the invoice: more variants means more to reorder, more to allocate across uneven months and more chance somebody substitutes a scent nobody chose. Lemon and Icy Mint are the least likely to be disliked by people who did not choose them.
Can we plan the programme around a particular month?
Not from anything published. No timing window of any kind appears on the site, so a renewal wave that has to be covered in a specific month should be discussed on WhatsApp before any date is committed internally. Work out your own arithmetic from the retail prices first, then have that conversation.
Take the next step
Two lines, three moments, and one WhatsApp conversation
A mild hanging from ₹449 as the standing object and a combo at ₹899 to ₹949 for a short top list is the whole programme. Prices here are published retail prices: do your own arithmetic against your current gifting line, then settle quantities, labels and timing on WhatsApp before you commit to anything internally.
Not sure which one suits the person you are buying for? Send SOSA their age, whether they drive, whether they like their home scented and your budget on WhatsApp, and you will get an honest answer - including when the cheaper product is the better gift.

No duration is published or implied for the hanging format. Prices and availability are subject to change - see the live product pages.
