The instinct behind the question is the right one, and it is worth naming precisely. A permanent scent in a hire vehicle is a single decision, taken once, that then applies to every person who sits in that cabin for the next several months - including the ones who would have said no. An on-demand approach breaks that one decision into many small ones, each taken close to the passenger it affects. That is the whole argument, and the product choice follows from it rather than the other way round.
SOSA car perfume, spray or hanging, from Rs 449
SOSA car perfume · 12ml · spray or hanging at the same price from ₹449 →
Carried in the door pocket, not fitted to the mirror. SOSA car perfume, 12ml, ₹449 to ₹509 - published in two variants at the same price: Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw). The spray does nothing until somebody picks it up, which is what makes it a per-journey decision. Alcohol-free, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India.
Quick answers — read this first
How can a luxury transport company scent a cabin only when a passenger asks for it? By carrying the scent rather than fitting it. SOSA car perfume is published in two forms of the same 12ml product at the same price - Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw), ₹449 to ₹509. The spray sits in the door pocket and does nothing until a hand picks it up, which is what makes it an event rather than a fixture.

Which SOSA form suits a fleet that does not want every vehicle permanently scented? The spray form, and the reason is structural rather than commercial. The two forms cost exactly the same, so this is not a budget decision at all. A hanging bottle works continuously from the moment it goes on the mirror; a spray is applied at a moment somebody chooses and stops on its own.

Is there a published rate for a transport company buying across a whole fleet? There is none, and a page that quoted you one would be inventing it. SOSA publishes no bulk rate, no minimum quantity, no price break and no per-unit figure anywhere. Bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available. Quantities are settled on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531.
The short answer
Short answer: Carry the scent instead of fitting it. SOSA car perfume is Rs 449 to Rs 509 at 12ml, and the spray and the hanging bottle are the same price, so an on-demand approach costs nothing extra. No fleet rate is published; quantities go to WhatsApp on +91 96192 18531.
The pick: The spray form at ₹449 to ₹509, carried in the vehicle rather than installed in it - applied for one journey by somebody who is standing there when it happens.
Why: A fixture makes one decision for every passenger who will ever sit in that cabin. A spray makes one decision per journey, and a journey is the unit your business actually runs on.
Sending something when somebody is having a hard time - at a glanceKeep it small - candle ₹399, attar ₹379, car scent ₹449For their home - reed diffuser ₹749, nothing to switch onSay the words yourself - no card goes in the parcelNever - a parcel instead of turning up
A gift cannot change how somebody's week went, and a page that suggests otherwise is not worth reading. What a small parcel does is tell a person you were thinking about them on a day when nothing made you - which is a real thing to say, and worth saying. Keep it small, because a large one asks somebody already short of energy to produce a reaction, and send the words separately, because the object cannot carry them.
Straight answer
Our luxury transport company serves passengers with very different fragrance preferences, so we do not want to scent every vehicle permanently. How should an on-demand approach be handled?
Treat the scent as equipment the driver carries, not as a fitting the vehicle has, and almost everything else falls into place. SOSA car perfume is published at ₹449 for Jasmine, ₹479 for Sandalwood and Lavender, ₹489 for Icy Mint, ₹499 for Lemon, and ₹509 for Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver at 12ml, and each of those is sold in two variants the store names plainly - Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw) - at exactly the same price. That matters here more than it looks. It means the on-demand form is not the expensive option you are talking yourself into; it is the same object with a different way of being used. A hanging bottle begins the moment it goes on the mirror and continues for every passenger after that, whether or not the scent was theirs. A spray waits in a door pocket and does nothing until a driver, at a moment of their choosing, decides it is wanted. Two practical consequences follow. The first is that a spray is reversible in a way a fixture is not - a journey that should be unscented simply does not include the step. The second is that you now need a rule rather than a product, because the bottle cannot decide when to be used and your driver can. Be clear about what fragrance is doing while you write that rule. Fragrance adds a scent to a cabin. It does not remove, neutralise, mask or purify an odour, it does not clean the air, and it is never a substitute for cleaning a vehicle. A cabin that already smells of something is a cleaning job, and spraying into it simply produces two scents where there was one. Every SOSA car fragrance is alcohol-free, oil and water based, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India. And the commercial part, stated plainly: there is no bulk rate, no minimum quantity, no price break and no per-unit figure published anywhere, so take your vehicle count to WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 rather than looking for a published list. Bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available. A portion of every SOSA order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
A fixture is a decision you take once and then stop being present for. A spray is a decision somebody takes while standing next to the person it affects, which is the only version of this that can respond to disagreement.
The working default: the spray, ₹449 to ₹509 - same price as the hanging bottle, carried in the door pocket, applied for one journey and not the next.

Three things to settle before a driver is told to scent a cabin

Three things decide whether an on-demand approach survives contact with a real duty roster, and the first is not the product at all.

1
The first thing
A permanent scent is a decision taken on behalf of people who are not there yet
Worth being precise about what is different between the two approaches, because it is not intensity and it is not price. It is how many people one decision covers.

Put a hanging bottle on the mirror of a vehicle that does three or four jobs a day and you have made one choice that now applies to every passenger who gets into it until somebody takes it down. None of them were asked. Some of them will be indifferent, some will like it, and a few will quietly dislike it and say nothing, because a passenger in a hired car almost never raises this. You will not hear the objection, which is exactly why it is worth designing around.

An on-demand approach changes the arithmetic rather than the product. One application covers one journey. The driver is physically present when it happens and can be told to skip it, and the next passenger inherits nothing from the last one. That is the substance of the whole question, and it is why the answer is the spray form even though the two forms are published at an identical price.

There is a smaller point underneath it that matters in a premium vehicle. A hanging bottle occupies the rear-view mirror, which is the one object in an interior that a passenger in the back cannot arrange not to look at. A spray occupies a door pocket and is invisible from the rear seat.
Tip: One fixture covers hundreds of passengers. One application covers one journey.
2
The second thing
What the store publishes about strength, which is less than you want
Here is the honest limit of what anybody can tell you. The only strength guidance SOSA publishes is in the two variant names themselves - the store calls one Spray (Strong scent-throw) and the other Hanging (Mild scent-throw). That is the whole of it.

There is no published dosage, no number of applications for a cabin of any size, and no published coverage figure for a car interior. There is also no published life for a 12ml bottle in either form, for any scent. The single exception is Mysore Orange Blossom, which is a spray only and publishes about 100 sprays in the 10ml at ₹549 and about 500 sprays in the 50ml at ₹1,499. Those numbers belong to that product and nowhere else.

So the amount is yours to fix, and the sane way to fix it is to test it in one vehicle with your own people in the back seat before it becomes an instruction to twenty drivers. Under-application is a recoverable mistake and over-application is not, because a passenger who finds a cabin too strong has nowhere to go for the next forty minutes. Start lower than feels generous.

And while you are testing, keep the boundary clear. Fragrance does not remove, neutralise, mask or purify a smell, and it does not clean the air. If a vehicle needs help, it needs cleaning, and no amount of application changes that.
3
The third thing
The rule your drivers can actually follow, and what is not published behind it
A rule that depends on a driver reading a passenger will not hold across a fleet. A rule that is a fixed sequence will. In practice that means the application happens before the passenger is in the vehicle, never with them in it, and it happens after the cabin has been cleaned rather than instead of it.

Carrying two or three scents rather than all eight is the other half of the rule. It gives a driver a real answer when somebody asks for something different, without turning the boot into a selection of eight bottles that nobody has time to think about at a pickup.

Now the commercial blanks, because you will meet them the moment you try to equip a fleet. There is no bulk rate, no minimum quantity, no price break, no per-unit figure and no formal trade or partner programme published anywhere. That is not a bargaining position; it simply does not exist on a page. Bulk orders are welcome and the conversation happens on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531. Go in with your vehicle count and how often you expect to reorder.

Branding is exactly one thing: custom label or logo on product. There is no custom box, no printed sleeve and no insert card. There is no carton, no ribbon and no message card. If your presentation needs more than a labelled bottle, that part is yours to arrange.

And the last blank is the honest one. Nobody can tell you what any of this does to your business. SOSA publishes no data of any kind on how a scented cabin affects what a passenger does next, and neither does anybody else selling you fragrance. What is knowable is the mechanism and the control you keep over it.
Tip: Fix the sequence, not the judgement. A rule that needs reading a passenger will not survive a roster.
SOSA Mysore Orange Blossom car perfume spray, Rs 549
The two variants, and why the price is not the question
Spray or Hanging - same product, same price, different control
The store publishes both forms of every 12ml scent and names them plainly: Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw). They cost the same - ₹449 for Jasmine up to ₹509 for Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver. So the decision is about two other things. Who decides when the scent happens: a spray sits in a glovebox until somebody picks it up; a hanging bottle works from the moment it goes in. And what stays visible: the hanging bottle hangs where the owner sees it, the spray does not. When the car belongs to your customer, those two usually settle it. Only Mysore Orange Blossom publishes a life: about 100 sprays at 10ml, about 500 at 50ml. No 12ml bottle publishes one, in either form.

Work it out in this order
Setting up an on-demand approach across a hire fleet
  1. Carry the scent in the vehicle instead of fitting it to the mirror.
  2. Clean first. Fragrance is added afterwards and never in place of it.
  3. Test the amount in one car with your own people before instructing drivers.
  4. Take your vehicle count to WhatsApp. No fleet rate is published to read first.
The SOSA principle
The objection you never hear is the one worth designing around. A passenger in a hired car will not tell you the cabin is too strong for them, so the approach that asks nothing of their tolerance is the one that holds up across a fleet.
That is the case for carrying the scent rather than fitting it, and it is why the two forms being the same price matters so much here.

Which scents to carry, and what the store does not publish about using them

Eight scents exist, and a fleet needs fewer of them than it thinks. Jasmine at ₹449 and Lemon at ₹499 are the two least likely to be actively disliked by somebody who did not choose them - one soft and floral, one bright and clean - which makes them the sensible default in a car where the occupant changes every few hours. Sandalwood at ₹479 is the warm middle and reads as considered rather than generic, and Sea Breeze at ₹509 is the cooler answer for the same job. Oud at ₹509 is rich and woody and people hold opinions about it, which makes it a fine request to be able to honour and a poor thing to apply by default. Icy Mint at ₹489 and Vetiver at ₹509 round out the range. All of them are alcohol-free, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India. Two or three carried across the fleet gives a driver something to offer without turning a pickup into a tasting.

The SOSA gift edit
Four ways a transport company could handle this, and where each one breaks
The option Who it suits, and where it fails
The spray, carried · ₹449 to ₹509 Applied for one journey by somebody standing next to the vehicle, invisible from the rear seat, and skipped entirely when it is not wanted. It fails if your drivers will not follow a fixed sequence, because the bottle cannot decide anything on its own.
The hanging bottle · the same ₹449 to ₹509 Working continuously with nothing for a driver to do, and toppable from a 15ml refill. It fails on exactly the thing you asked about: it applies one choice to every passenger who sits in that cabin until somebody removes it.
Two or three scents carried · from ₹449 each Gives a driver a real answer when a passenger wants something other than the default, at the cost of a little handling. It fails when the choice is offered at the kerb, where nobody wants to be asked a question.
SOSA Safar · ₹3,999 A cordless waterless diffuser with three speeds and a 1, 2 or 3-hour auto shut-off, so the scent has an end built into it. It fails on cost across a large fleet, and it is a device a driver has to manage rather than a bottle they use.
SOSA Car Perfume Discovery Set, three mini sprays
What exists for handing out in quantity, and what does not
Sets, combos, refills - and the four things nobody publishes
For businesses handing something to a lot of customers, this is the honest inventory. The Car Perfume Discovery Set is three travel-size mini sprays in eight fixed curated trios, ₹699 to ₹899, with a Pack of 9 at ₹2,999. Combos pair two scents at ₹899 and ₹949. 15ml refills are ₹399 to ₹449 and they refill the hanging bottle. Now the gaps, because you are planning around them: the trios are fixed and a build-your-own set is not offered; no spray refill is published; no bulk rate, minimum, lead time or per-unit cost is published anywhere; and no cost per spray can honestly be given. Bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available - that is the one branding option. Quantities are settled on WhatsApp.
See the Discovery Set from ₹699 →

Three other things in the range are worth knowing about before you decide. The Car Perfume Discovery Set is three travel-size mini sprays in eight fixed curated trios, ₹699 to ₹899, with a Pack of 9 at ₹2,999 - the trios are fixed, and a chosen-to-order set of three is not offered. Combos pair two scents at ₹899, and Oud with Sandalwood and Oud with Lemon at ₹949. Refills are 15ml at ₹399 to ₹449, and read that carefully: they refill the hanging bottle, and there is no spray refill product at all, only a system described as in development. Further up, SOSA Safar at ₹3,999 is a waterless cordless diffuser of about 6.9 cm with three speeds and a 1, 2 or 3-hour auto shut-off - genuinely relevant where a driver wants a scent that ends by itself. Its country of origin is China.

The one published fact that settles most of this decision
Spray and Hanging are the same price. So the choice is never the money.
Every SOSA car scent is sold in two forms and the store names them plainly: Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw). They cost exactly the same - ₹449 for Jasmine, ₹479 for Sandalwood and Lavender, ₹489 for Icy Mint, ₹499 for Lemon, and ₹509 for Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver at 12ml. So the decision is not a budget decision at all. It is two other things. Who decides when the scent happens: a spray waits in a glovebox until somebody picks it up, while a hanging bottle starts working the moment it goes in and keeps working. And what stays visible: a hanging bottle hangs where the owner sees it, and a spray does not. For a business handing something to a customer, those two facts usually decide it on their own, because the car belongs to the customer and not to you. Every one of these is alcohol-free, oil and water based, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India. Only one scent publishes how long it lasts: Mysore Orange Blossom, spray only, about 100 sprays at 10ml for ₹549 and about 500 sprays at 50ml for ₹1,499. No 12ml bottle publishes a life, in either form.

A fixture asks every passenger to accept a choice that was made before they arrived. A spray asks one person, once, about one journey - and that is the difference you are actually buying.

The SOSA gifting range

Two questions settle almost every reed diffuser gift, and the first one is not price. How big is the room it is going into? A 50ml suits a bedroom, a study, a hallway or a first diffuser; a 130ml suits an open-plan living and dining area, and it is genuinely too much for a small closed bedroom. Then: how much do you actually know about their taste? The less you know, the less declarative the scent should be - Morning Freshness is the safest of the five for a home you have never stood in, and Fresh Brew coffee-vanilla is the strongest opinion in the range. Price follows those two answers rather than leading them.

SOSA Safar Waterless cordless diffuser, 6.9 cm ₹3,999 - rechargeable, three speeds and a 1, 2 or 3-hour auto shut-off, so a driver controls when it runs. Imported rather than made in India ₹3,999

Spray and Hanging are the same product at the same price. The store publishes them as Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw), and the choice is scent-throw and who controls it, never budget. Every SOSA car fragrance is alcohol-free, oil and water based, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India. Fragrance adds a scent to a cabin; it does not remove, neutralise, mask or purify an odour, it does not clean the air, and it is not a substitute for cleaning a car. No spray refill is published - the 15ml refills are for the hanging bottle. Prices above are published retail prices; bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available, and quantities, rates and anything commercial are settled on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 rather than published here. What the SOSA car pages publish, and what they do not
Everything below is on the live product pages. Anything not on this list is not something a page like this should state.
  • Two forms, one price - Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw) are published as variants of the same 12ml product at the same price: Jasmine ₹449, Sandalwood and Lavender ₹479, Icy Mint ₹489, Lemon ₹499, and Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver ₹509. Every one also carries a 50ml spray at ₹1,499.
  • Composition - alcohol-free, oil and water based, phthalate-free, paraben-free, IFRA-compliant, formulated by Sonal Sahani, ISIPCA Versailles trained, and made in India.

No other scent publishes a spray count or a duration, and no 12ml bottle publishes a life in either form.
  • Sets and combos - the Discovery Set is three travel-size mini sprays in eight fixed trios, ₹699 to ₹899, with a Pack of 9 at ₹2,999. Combos are ₹899 and ₹949. The trios are fixed; a build-your-own set is not offered.

  • Not published, and therefore never stated here: any bulk rate, minimum quantity, slab, price break, lead time, turnaround or per-unit cost; any trade, partner or dealer programme; any cost per spray; how long a 12ml bottle lasts; and anything at all about what a gift does to customer retention, referrals or repeat business. A note from Sonal

The enquiries that come from automotive businesses are refreshingly unsentimental. Nobody writes to me about the magic of a first drive. They write: we hand over ninety cars a month, we currently give a keychain, and we are fairly sure nobody keeps it. That is a good question, and it deserves a better answer than a brochure.

So here is the part I would want you to take away, and it is the only part that is actually a fact. The spray and the hanging bottle are the same product at the same price. Jasmine is ₹449 either way. Oud is ₹509 either way. That surprises people, because they assume one must be the upgrade. Neither is. What you are choosing between is who decides when the scent happens and whether anything stays visible in the cabin - and when the car belongs to your customer rather than to you, those two questions usually answer themselves.

The part I will not pretend about is the part most of these enquiries are really asking. I cannot tell you that a gift brings anybody back. Nobody selling you a gift can, and the ones who say they can are selling you something else. What I can tell you is the mechanism: a small bottle goes into a car, it does not need fitting or explaining, it works the same in a hatchback and in a seven-seater, and if the customer likes it they will use it where they spend an hour a day. What that is worth to your business is your judgement, not mine.

And the honest gaps, because you are planning around them. There is no published bulk rate, no minimum, no lead time and no per-unit cost - not because they are secret but because they are settled properly in a conversation, and a page that invented them would be lying to you. Custom label or logo on product is real, and it is the only branding there is.

Frequently asked questions

What does SOSA car perfume cost for a transport company equipping a fleet?
The published retail prices are Rs 449 for Jasmine, Rs 479 for Sandalwood and Lavender, Rs 489 for Icy Mint, Rs 499 for Lemon, and Rs 509 for Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver at 12ml, with a 50ml spray at Rs 1,499. Beyond that, no bulk rate, minimum quantity, price break or per-unit figure is published anywhere and nothing here invents one. Bulk orders are welcome and quantities are settled on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531.
Is the spray dearer than the hanging version?
No. They are two variants of the same 12ml product at the same price, published by the store as Spray for strong scent-throw and Hanging for mild scent-throw. The choice is about who decides when the scent happens and whether anything stays visible in the cabin. Nothing about an on-demand approach costs you more at the point of purchase.
How many applications does a cabin need?
That is not published, and no honest page will give you a number. SOSA publishes no dosage, no application count and no coverage figure for a car interior. The only strength guidance on the store is in the variant names themselves, Strong scent-throw for the spray and Mild for the hanging bottle. Fix the amount yourself by testing it in one vehicle, and start lower than feels generous.
Can a spray be used on a cabin that already smells of something?
It should not be, and this is worth being blunt about. Fragrance adds a scent to a cabin. It does not remove, neutralise, mask or purify an odour, it does not clean the air, and it is never a substitute for cleaning a vehicle. A cabin that smells of something has a cleaning problem, and applying a fragrance to it leaves you with two scents rather than one. Clean the vehicle, and treat fragrance as a step that comes afterwards.
Will a scented cabin change what our passengers think of us?
Nobody can tell you that, and SOSA publishes no data of any kind on what fragrance does to passenger behaviour or opinion. What is knowable is the mechanism: a scent is present in a cabin for the duration of a journey, and in the spray form a person decides when that happens and can decide it should not. What that is worth to your business is your judgement rather than a claim anyone should be making to you.

About this guide: Written by Sonal Sahani, ISIPCA Versailles-trained founder and perfumer at SOSA Home & Body. Product recommendations reflect the SOSA range; the buying reasoning applies to any brand.

Specifications verified from the live SOSA product pages, September 2026: every SOSA car fragrance is published in two forms of the same 12ml product - Spray, described on the store as strong scent-throw, and Hanging, described as mild scent-throw - and the two forms are the same price. Those prices are Jasmine ₹449; Sandalwood and Lavender ₹479; Icy Mint ₹489; Lemon ₹499; and Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver ₹509. Each of those products also carries a 50ml car perfume spray at ₹1,499. Mysore Orange Blossom is sold as a spray only, at ₹549 for 10ml and ₹1,499 for 50ml, and is the only car scent publishing a spray count: approximately 100 sprays in the 10ml and approximately 500 sprays in the 50ml, stated as about 50 days at two sprays a day and three months and above at one spray a day. Car perfume combos are ₹899 for Jasmine with Lemon and Jasmine with Lavender, and ₹949 for Oud with Lemon and Sandalwood with Oud. The Car Perfume Discovery Set is three travel-size mini sprays in one of eight fixed curated trios, ₹699 to ₹899, with a Pack of 9 at ₹2,999. Car hanging freshener refills are 15ml at ₹399 to ₹449. Every SOSA car fragrance is alcohol-free, oil and water based, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, and is made in India. SOSA Safar ₹3,999, or ₹4,499 for the hotel-inspired trios, is a waterless cordless portable diffuser of approximately 6.9 cm with a 2000 mAh Type-C battery giving up to 10 hours continuous or 30 hours intermittent per charge, three speeds and a 1, 2 or 3-hour auto shut-off; its country of origin is China. What is not published, and is therefore not stated here: how long a 12ml bottle lasts in either form; any spray count or duration for any scent other than Mysore Orange Blossom; any cost per spray; any bulk rate, minimum quantity, slab, price break, lead time, turnaround or per-unit cost; any trade, partner or dealer programme; and any spray refill, since the 15ml refills are published for the hanging bottle. Limits of this guide: fragrance adds a scent to a cabin. It does not remove, neutralise, mask or purify an odour, it does not clean the air, and it is never a substitute for cleaning a vehicle. No claim is made anywhere on this page about mood, stress, calm, alertness or wellbeing, nor about the safety of any product for children, pregnant passengers, elderly passengers or pets, nor about flammability, nor about how any customer or passenger will feel. No claim is made about business outcomes. Nothing on this page states or implies that a gift increases customer retention, referrals, repeat business, reviews, recall or sales; SOSA publishes no data of that kind and none is invented here. No competitor is named or characterised, and no rating, review count or customer name from any product page is cited. Bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available; that is the only branding option, and quantities are settled on WhatsApp. SOSA Home & Body is an Indian fragrance house based in Pune, Maharashtra, sending orders across India, with no shop, showroom, stockist, counter or warehouse in any other city.
