What “free-from” actually means
When you strip out the marketing, what people actually want from a “zero-chemical” car freshener is to stop reacting to it - no headache in the closed cabin, no stinging eyes at a red light, no sickly synthetic afterglow. That is a real, reasonable need. The honest way to meet it is not to pretend chemistry does not exist; it is to remove the specific ingredients that cause most of those reactions.
Free-from, defined
A free-from claim names the things deliberately left out of a formula.
