Five business types, five variables, and one procedure that works across all of them - with a correction at the start. The variable that decides this more than any you listed is who owns the car. A dealership, a detailing studio, a PPF centre, a tyre store and an event all give into a vehicle they do not own, and that single fact narrows the answer before purchase frequency, customer value or budget get a say. The businesses where it opens back up are the ones that do own the car, and they are the only place a device rather than a bottle belongs.
SOSA car perfume range, 12ml bottles and Discovery Set, from Rs 449
SOSA car fragrance · 12ml to Discovery Set to Safar from ₹449 →
One procedure across five businesses. SOSA car perfume, 12ml, ₹449 to ₹509 in two variants at the same price - Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw). Discovery Set ₹699 to ₹899 in eight fixed trios. SOSA Safar ₹3,999 where your own operator drives. Alcohol-free, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India.
Quick answers — read this first
How should an automotive business choose a car fragrance format? Start with ownership. If the car belongs to the customer, hand over control - the 12ml spray at ₹449 to ₹509, same price as the hanging bottle. If your own operator drives it, continuous scenting becomes your call, which is where SOSA Safar at ₹3,999 belongs. Then let frequency pick the size: one handover takes one bottle, an event kit takes a Discovery Set.

Which format suits a detailing studio or PPF centre versus a tyre store? The same format, for a different reason. A studio finishes work inside the cabin, so a sealed bottle the owner opens later does not interfere with what was just done. A tyre store never enters the cabin at all, so the bottle is the only thing that crosses the counter. Both are giving into a car they do not own, so the spray is the default in each.

Does the customer's spend tell you which scent to give them? No, and this is worth saying plainly. Nobody surveyed their taste, so a larger invoice tells you how much to spend and nothing at all about which of eight scents to choose. That is the argument for a sealed on-demand bottle, and for the Discovery Set at ₹699 to ₹899, which hands over three and lets them find it.
The short answer
Short answer: Decide ownership first: a car you do not own argues for the sealed 12ml spray at Rs 449 to Rs 509, same price as the hanging bottle. A car your own operator drives is where continuous scenting and SOSA Safar at Rs 3,999 belong. Frequency sets the size, and no bulk rate is published. WhatsApp +91 96192 18531.
The pick: The 12ml spray at ₹449 to ₹509 across all five business types, with the Discovery Set at ₹699 to ₹899 where one bottle looks thin and SOSA Safar at ₹3,999 only where your own operator drives the car.
Why: Four of the five businesses give into a vehicle they do not own, which settles the format before any of the listed variables are consulted.
Sending something when somebody is having a hard time - at a glanceKeep it small - candle ₹399, attar ₹379, car scent ₹449For their home - reed diffuser ₹749, nothing to switch onSay the words yourself - no card goes in the parcelNever - a parcel instead of turning up
A gift cannot change how somebody's week went, and a page that suggests otherwise is not worth reading. What a small parcel does is tell a person you were thinking about them on a day when nothing made you - which is a real thing to say, and worth saying. Keep it small, because a large one asks somebody already short of energy to produce a reaction, and send the words separately, because the object cannot carry them.
Straight answer
We want to introduce fragrance gifting across dealerships, detailing studios, PPF centres, tyre stores and automotive events. How should purchase frequency, customer value, gifting budget, vehicle type and whether fragrance should be continuous or on-demand decide which format we procure?
Add a sixth variable and put it first: who owns the car. A dealership, a detailing studio, a PPF centre, a tyre store and an event all hand something into a vehicle that belongs to somebody else, and that argues for on-demand and for handing over control - which means the 12ml spray at ₹449 to ₹509, published alongside the hanging bottle as Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw) at the same price, so form is never a budget call. Continuous scenting becomes a legitimate choice only where your own operator drives the car - a chauffeur service or a corporate fleet - and that is where SOSA Safar at ₹3,999 genuinely belongs: a cordless waterless diffuser, 6.9 cm, three speeds, a 1, 2 or 3-hour auto shut-off, a 2000 mAh Type-C battery giving up to 10 hours continuous or 30 hours intermittent per charge. It is roughly eight times a 12ml spray, so it is a fleet decision and not a gifting one. Then let frequency pick the size. A single handover takes one bottle. A recurring counter reward takes the same bottle repeatedly, which is a virtue rather than a limitation. An event kit takes the Discovery Set at ₹699 to ₹899 in eight fixed trios, or a Pack of 9 at ₹2,999. And the closing honesty: nothing about a customer's value tells you which scent to give, because nobody surveyed their taste - which is precisely the argument for the sealed on-demand form and for the Discovery Set's three. Every SOSA car fragrance is alcohol-free, oil and water based, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India. The Safar device is imported, with a country of origin of China. No bulk rate, no minimum quantity, no price break, no lead time and no per-unit figure is published - take your volumes to WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531. A portion of every SOSA order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
Four of your five businesses give into a car they do not own. That settles the format before frequency, value or budget are consulted, which is why the procedure starts with a variable you did not list.
The default across all five: the 12ml spray, ₹449 to ₹509 - same price as the hanging bottle, sealed, and opened when the owner decides rather than when you do.
See the SOSA car range from ₹449

A procedure, in three steps, starting with the variable that was not on your list

Three steps, in this sequence: ownership, then frequency, then the scent decision that has no method at all.

1
Step one
Who owns the car - the variable that decides more than the five you listed
Run your five business types through one question and watch four of them collapse into the same answer. A dealership hands over a car it has just sold. A detailing studio and a PPF centre hand back a car they were trusted with. A tyre store never enters the cabin at all. An event gives into a car parked outside. In every one of those the vehicle belongs to the customer, and the person who should decide what it smells like is sitting in it, not standing behind your counter.

That is the whole argument for on-demand and for the sealed bottle. The 12ml spray at ₹449 to ₹509 waits in a door pocket until the owner reaches for it and leaves nothing on the mirror. The hanging bottle, at exactly the same price, starts working the moment it goes in and occupies the most looked-at spot in the interior. Neither is dearer; one imposes and one does not.

The exception is real and it is the only place a device belongs. A chauffeur service or a corporate fleet owns the car, and there continuous scenting is an operator's decision rather than an imposition on a stranger. SOSA Safar at ₹3,999 is a cordless waterless diffuser, 6.9 cm, with three speeds, a 1, 2 or 3-hour auto shut-off and a 2000 mAh Type-C battery giving up to 10 hours continuous or 30 hours intermittent per charge. It is roughly eight times a 12ml spray, which is the correct way to think about it: a piece of fleet equipment, not a gift. The fragrances are made in India. The Safar device is imported, with a country of origin of China.
Tip: Ownership settles it. Four of your five give into somebody else's car, so hand over control.
2
Step two
Frequency picks the size, and vehicle type turns out not to matter at all
Purchase frequency is the variable that does real work, and it works on size rather than on format. A new-car delivery happens once for that customer, so it takes one bottle and the bottle should feel proportionate to the day. A detailing or PPF job repeats a few times a year, so the same bottle handed over again is not a failure of imagination - it is a consumable the customer is already using, which is the one category where repetition is welcome. A tyre or accessories counter repeats often and at lower value, which argues for the least expensive rung of the published list rather than a different product. An event happens once, to a large room, and takes a kit.

So the ladder reads: ₹449 Jasmine, ₹479 Sandalwood and Lavender, ₹489 Icy Mint, ₹499 Lemon, ₹509 Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver at 12ml; combos at ₹899 and ₹949; the Discovery Set at ₹699 to ₹899 in eight fixed curated trios; a Pack of 9 at ₹2,999; and a 50ml spray at ₹1,499. Your gifting budget chooses a rung. It does not choose a format, because every rung is the same sealed, on-demand object in a different quantity.

And vehicle type, the fourth variable, does no work whatsoever. A sealed 12ml bottle plugs into nothing, draws no power and needs no vent or port, so a combustion car, a hybrid and an EV receive the identical object. There is no fitment to check, no model to match and no question the vehicle has to answer. That is unusual in automotive gifting and it is the reason one decision covers all five of your business types at once.
3
Step three
The scent, the blanks, and the closing honesty of this whole bank
Here is the part no procedure can do for you. Customer value tells you how much to spend. It tells you nothing at all about which of eight scents to hand over, because nobody surveyed the customer's taste. A larger invoice does not make somebody an oud person. This is not a gap in the method, it is a fact about the information you have, and it points at two answers. The first is the sealed on-demand form, which can simply be set aside by a customer who does not like it, unlike a bottle you hung on their mirror. The second is the Discovery Set at ₹699 to ₹899, which hands over three travel-size mini sprays in eight fixed curated trios and lets them find their own answer - though the trios are fixed and a set assembled to your brief is not offered.

Now the blanks, in full, because this is the last page of the bank and they should be in one place. There is no bulk rate, no minimum quantity, no price break, no lead time and no per-unit figure. There is no trade programme, no dealer pricing and no corporate portal. Branding is exactly one thing: custom label or logo on product. There is no custom box, no printed sleeve and no insert card. There is no carton, no ribbon and no message card. There is no spray refill product at all, only a system described as in development; the 15ml refills at ₹399 to ₹449 belong to the hanging bottle. And SOSA does not publish how long a 12ml bottle lasts in either form, for any scent - only Mysore Orange Blossom publishes a count, at about 100 sprays in the 10ml (₹549) and about 500 sprays in the 50ml (₹1,499).

And the last one, which is the honest close to all of it. SOSA cannot tell you that customers will return more often because of any of this. No data on repeat purchase, referral or recall is published, by SOSA or by anybody else selling you a gift. What is knowable is the mechanism: the object goes into the car and gets used there. What that is worth across five businesses is your judgement, and bulk orders are welcome on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531.
Tip: Value sets the spend and nothing else. Nobody surveyed their taste, so hand over the choice.
SOSA Mysore Orange Blossom car perfume spray, Rs 549
The two variants, and why the price is not the question
Spray or Hanging - same product, same price, different control
The store publishes both forms of every 12ml scent and names them plainly: Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw). They cost the same - ₹449 for Jasmine up to ₹509 for Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver. So the decision is about two other things. Who decides when the scent happens: a spray sits in a glovebox until somebody picks it up; a hanging bottle works from the moment it goes in. And what stays visible: the hanging bottle hangs where the owner sees it, the spray does not. When the car belongs to your customer, those two usually settle it. Only Mysore Orange Blossom publishes a life: about 100 sprays at 10ml, about 500 at 50ml. No 12ml bottle publishes one, in either form.
See the SOSA car range from ₹449 →
Work it out in this order
The procedure, in four lines, for all five business types
  1. Ask who owns the car first. It decides more than any variable you listed.
  2. If it is the customer's car, hand over control: the sealed spray, opened later.
  3. Let frequency set the size: one bottle, the same bottle again, or a set.
  4. Take frequency and volumes to WhatsApp. No rate and no minimum exists.
The SOSA principle
You listed five variables and the one that settles this was not among them. Four of your five businesses hand something into a car they do not own, and that alone chooses the sealed, on-demand bottle before frequency, value or budget are consulted.
The fifth case, where your own operator drives, is the only one where continuous scenting is yours to decide and a device rather than a bottle is the honest answer.

The full range in one place, and the one decision nobody can make for you

Eight scents, and the closing point of this whole bank is that choosing among them for somebody else is the one step with no method. Jasmine at ₹449 is soft and floral and the least likely to be refused. Lemon at ₹499 is bright and clean and reads as fresh in any cabin. Sandalwood at ₹479 is the warm middle. Lavender at ₹479 is quiet. Icy Mint at ₹489 is cold and sharp. Oud at ₹509, Vetiver at ₹509 and Sea Breeze at ₹509 carry the strongest personalities, which makes them a fine choice for a customer you know and a gamble for one you do not. For a counter that moves quickly, carrying two or three rather than eight removes a decision from the busiest moment of the day. All are alcohol-free, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India. And say what it does honestly: it adds a scent, and it does not remove, neutralise, mask or purify a smell.

The SOSA gift edit
Four of your five businesses, and what each one should hand over
The option Who it suits, and where it fails
A dealership handover · ₹449 to ₹509 Once per customer, high value, and a car that became theirs ten minutes ago. The 12ml spray, sealed and opened when they choose. It breaks if your ritual needs an object that looks substantial in the photograph, which is where the 50ml at ₹1,499 earns its place.
A detailing studio or PPF centre · ₹449 to ₹509 A few times a year, and you have just finished work inside a cabin you were trusted with. The same spray, handed over sealed, so nothing you chose is imposed on the interior you were asked to leave alone. It breaks if the customer expected the scent applied, which is a different service entirely.
A tyre or accessories counter · from ₹449 Frequent, lower value, and the cabin is never entered. The least expensive rung of the published list, handed over often, since a consumable is the one gift that survives repetition. It breaks if you expected the gift to scale with the invoice - it should not.
An automotive event · ₹449 to ₹2,999 Once, to a large room, before the guest list is final. The 12ml spray in two or three scents, or a Discovery Set at ₹699 to ₹899 as a prize. It breaks on spend if you put the set in every bag, and the trios are fixed, so they cannot be assembled to your brief.
SOSA Car Perfume Discovery Set, three mini sprays
What exists for handing out in quantity, and what does not
Sets, combos, refills - and the four things nobody publishes
For businesses handing something to a lot of customers, this is the honest inventory. The Car Perfume Discovery Set is three travel-size mini sprays in eight fixed curated trios, ₹699 to ₹899, with a Pack of 9 at ₹2,999. Combos pair two scents at ₹899 and ₹949. 15ml refills are ₹399 to ₹449 and they refill the hanging bottle. Now the gaps, because you are planning around them: the trios are fixed and a build-your-own set is not offered; no spray refill is published; no bulk rate, minimum, lead time or per-unit cost is published anywhere; and no cost per spray can honestly be given. Bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available - that is the one branding option. Quantities are settled on WhatsApp.

The full range, as a single reference for all five businesses. Eight 12ml scents at ₹449 to ₹509, each published as Spray and Hanging at the same price. The Car Perfume Discovery Set is three travel-size mini sprays in eight fixed curated trios, ₹699 to ₹899, with a Pack of 9 at ₹2,999. 15ml refills at ₹399 to ₹449 top up the hanging bottle, and there is no spray refill product at all. A 50ml spray sits at ₹1,499. And SOSA Safar at ₹3,999 closes the range: cordless, waterless, 6.9 cm, three speeds, a 1, 2 or 3-hour auto shut-off and up to 10 hours continuous or 30 hours intermittent per charge - fleet equipment where your own operator drives, and nothing to hand a stranger.

The one published fact that settles most of this decision
Spray and Hanging are the same price. So the choice is never the money.
Every SOSA car scent is sold in two forms and the store names them plainly: Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw). They cost exactly the same - ₹449 for Jasmine, ₹479 for Sandalwood and Lavender, ₹489 for Icy Mint, ₹499 for Lemon, and ₹509 for Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver at 12ml. So the decision is not a budget decision at all. It is two other things. Who decides when the scent happens: a spray waits in a glovebox until somebody picks it up, while a hanging bottle starts working the moment it goes in and keeps working. And what stays visible: a hanging bottle hangs where the owner sees it, and a spray does not. For a business handing something to a customer, those two facts usually decide it on their own, because the car belongs to the customer and not to you. Every one of these is alcohol-free, oil and water based, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India. Only one scent publishes how long it lasts: Mysore Orange Blossom, spray only, about 100 sprays at 10ml for ₹549 and about 500 sprays at 50ml for ₹1,499. No 12ml bottle publishes a life, in either form.

The SOSA gifting range

Two questions settle almost every reed diffuser gift, and the first one is not price. How big is the room it is going into? A 50ml suits a bedroom, a study, a hallway or a first diffuser; a 130ml suits an open-plan living and dining area, and it is genuinely too much for a small closed bedroom. Then: how much do you actually know about their taste? The less you know, the less declarative the scent should be - Morning Freshness is the safest of the five for a home you have never stood in, and Fresh Brew coffee-vanilla is the strongest opinion in the range. Price follows those two answers rather than leading them.

Spray and Hanging are the same product at the same price. The store publishes them as Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw), and the choice is scent-throw and who controls it, never budget. Every SOSA car fragrance is alcohol-free, oil and water based, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India. Fragrance adds a scent to a cabin; it does not remove, neutralise, mask or purify an odour, it does not clean the air, and it is not a substitute for cleaning a car. No spray refill is published - the 15ml refills are for the hanging bottle. Prices above are published retail prices; bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available, and quantities, rates and anything commercial are settled on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 rather than published here. What the SOSA car pages publish, and what they do not
Everything below is on the live product pages. Anything not on this list is not something a page like this should state.
  • Two forms, one price - Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw) are published as variants of the same 12ml product at the same price: Jasmine ₹449, Sandalwood and Lavender ₹479, Icy Mint ₹489, Lemon ₹499, and Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver ₹509. Every one also carries a 50ml spray at ₹1,499.

No other scent publishes a spray count or a duration, and no 12ml bottle publishes a life in either form.
  • Sets and combos - the Discovery Set is three travel-size mini sprays in eight fixed trios, ₹699 to ₹899, with a Pack of 9 at ₹2,999. Combos are ₹899 and ₹949. The trios are fixed; a build-your-own set is not offered.

A note from Sonal

The enquiries that come from automotive businesses are refreshingly unsentimental. Nobody writes to me about the magic of a first drive. They write: we hand over ninety cars a month, we currently give a keychain, and we are fairly sure nobody keeps it. That is a good question, and it deserves a better answer than a brochure.

So here is the part I would want you to take away, and it is the only part that is actually a fact. The spray and the hanging bottle are the same product at the same price. Jasmine is ₹449 either way. Oud is ₹509 either way. That surprises people, because they assume one must be the upgrade. Neither is. What you are choosing between is who decides when the scent happens and whether anything stays visible in the cabin - and when the car belongs to your customer rather than to you, those two questions usually answer themselves.

The part I will not pretend about is the part most of these enquiries are really asking. I cannot tell you that a gift brings anybody back. Nobody selling you a gift can, and the ones who say they can are selling you something else. What I can tell you is the mechanism: a small bottle goes into a car, it does not need fitting or explaining, it works the same in a hatchback and in a seven-seater, and if the customer likes it they will use it where they spend an hour a day. What that is worth to your business is your judgement, not mine.

And the honest gaps, because you are planning around them. There is no published bulk rate, no minimum, no lead time and no per-unit cost - not because they are secret but because they are settled properly in a conversation, and a page that invented them would be lying to you. Custom label or logo on product is real, and it is the only branding there is.

Frequently asked questions

Which format should a dealership, a studio, a tyre store and an event each procure?
All four should default to the same thing, and for the same reason: the 12ml spray at Rs 449 to Rs 509, because none of them owns the car they are gifting into. The spray waits until the owner reaches for it and leaves nothing on the mirror. It is the same price as the hanging bottle, so this is a control decision and never a budget one. An event may add a Discovery Set at Rs 699 to Rs 899 as a prize rather than as the general giveaway.
When is a continuous diffuser the right answer instead of a bottle?
Only where your own operator drives the car. A chauffeur service or a corporate fleet owns the vehicle, so continuous scenting is an operating decision rather than something imposed on a stranger. SOSA Safar at Rs 3,999 is a cordless waterless diffuser, 6.9 cm, with three speeds, a 1, 2 or 3-hour auto shut-off and a 2000 mAh Type-C battery giving up to 10 hours continuous or 30 hours intermittent per charge. It is roughly eight times a 12ml spray, so it is fleet equipment rather than a gift.
Does a higher-value customer get a different scent?
No, and it is worth being blunt about why. Nobody surveyed the customer's taste, so their spend tells you how much to give and nothing about which of eight scents they would want. That is the argument for the sealed on-demand bottle, which a customer can simply set aside, and for the Discovery Set at Rs 699 to Rs 899, which hands over three and lets them find their own answer. The eight trios are fixed and cannot be assembled to your brief.
Does the drivetrain change which product we buy?
No. A sealed 12ml bottle plugs into nothing, draws no power and needs no vent or port, so a combustion car, a hybrid and an EV receive the identical object. There is no fitment to check and no model to match, which is why one decision can cover a dealership, a detailing studio, a PPF centre, a tyre store and an event without being revisited for each.
Is there a published figure for rolling this out across several businesses?
No. SOSA publishes no bulk rate, no minimum quantity, no price break, no lead time and no per-unit figure, and there is no trade programme, no dealer pricing and no corporate portal. Custom label or logo on product is the one branding option, with no custom box, no printed sleeve and no insert card, and no carton, no ribbon and no message card. Bulk orders are genuinely welcome and quantities are settled on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531.

About this guide: Written by Sonal Sahani, ISIPCA Versailles-trained founder and perfumer at SOSA Home & Body. Product recommendations reflect the SOSA range; the buying reasoning applies to any brand.

Specifications verified from the live SOSA product pages, September 2026: every SOSA car fragrance is published in two forms of the same 12ml product - Spray, described on the store as strong scent-throw, and Hanging, described as mild scent-throw - and the two forms are the same price. Those prices are Jasmine ₹449; Sandalwood and Lavender ₹479; Icy Mint ₹489; Lemon ₹499; and Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver ₹509. Each of those products also carries a 50ml car perfume spray at ₹1,499. Mysore Orange Blossom is sold as a spray only, at ₹549 for 10ml and ₹1,499 for 50ml, and is the only car scent publishing a spray count: approximately 100 sprays in the 10ml and approximately 500 sprays in the 50ml, stated as about 50 days at two sprays a day and three months and above at one spray a day. Car perfume combos are ₹899 for Jasmine with Lemon and Jasmine with Lavender, and ₹949 for Oud with Lemon and Sandalwood with Oud. The Car Perfume Discovery Set is three travel-size mini sprays in one of eight fixed curated trios, ₹699 to ₹899, with a Pack of 9 at ₹2,999. Car hanging freshener refills are 15ml at ₹399 to ₹449. Every SOSA car fragrance is alcohol-free, oil and water based, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, and is made in India. SOSA Safar ₹3,999, or ₹4,499 for the hotel-inspired trios, is a waterless cordless portable diffuser of approximately 6.9 cm with a 2000 mAh Type-C battery giving up to 10 hours continuous or 30 hours intermittent per charge, three speeds and a 1, 2 or 3-hour auto shut-off; its country of origin is China. What is not published, and is therefore not stated here: how long a 12ml bottle lasts in either form; any spray count or duration for any scent other than Mysore Orange Blossom; any cost per spray; any bulk rate, minimum quantity, slab, price break, lead time, turnaround or per-unit cost; any trade, partner or dealer programme; and any spray refill, since the 15ml refills are published for the hanging bottle. Limits of this guide: fragrance adds a scent to a cabin. It does not remove, neutralise, mask or purify an odour, it does not clean the air, and it is never a substitute for cleaning a vehicle. No claim is made anywhere on this page about mood, stress, calm, alertness or wellbeing, nor about the safety of any product for children, pregnant passengers, elderly passengers or pets, nor about flammability, nor about how any customer or passenger will feel. No claim is made about business outcomes. Nothing on this page states or implies that a gift increases customer retention, referrals, repeat business, reviews, recall or sales; SOSA publishes no data of that kind and none is invented here. No competitor is named or characterised, and no rating, review count or customer name from any product page is cited. Bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available; that is the only branding option, and quantities are settled on WhatsApp. SOSA Home & Body is an Indian fragrance house based in Pune, Maharashtra, sending orders across India, with no shop, showroom, stockist, counter or warehouse in any other city.
