Amber, violet and woods is the richest fragrance in the range, and in most rooms I would tell you to use it sparingly. A 120–160 sq ft bedroom behind a shut door is the exception. You are in it for a couple of conscious hours rather than sixteen, and in it to wind down, so richness stops being demanding and becomes the point. It is also the scent that makes the threshold work: walking from white tea into amber is a change your body registers before your mind does.
The setting that matters: low output with the 2H timer, and at least 1.5m from the pillow. The St. Regis-inspired at full output in a small bedroom all night is the one combination in this range that will genuinely tire you of a fragrance you love.

The SOSA principle
A wardrobe is not three fragrances you like. It is three fragrances that are far apart.

Why a guest room wants the neutral one
This is the advice that surprises people most, and it comes straight out of how hotels operate. A lobby is where fragrance is allowed a personality — it is public, it is meant to be memorable, and nobody sleeps in it. Guest rooms are scented far more quietly, and the reason is simple: a person about to sleep in an unfamiliar bed should not feel they are lying down inside somebody else's decision. Whatever you love most is precisely what should not go in there, because a guest cannot leave, cannot turn it off, and will not mention it in the morning.
That is why the Westin-inspired earns the second bedroom in two of the three wardrobes above. White tea, aloe and cedar is the driest and least insistent of the seven — it reads as clean air and fresh linen rather than perfume, which is the note a well-run hotel room hits. If a guest never consciously registers it and simply says they slept well, it has done its job. The same restraint applies to how you run it: low with the 2H timer, started an hour before your guest goes up rather than while they are in the room, placed across from the bed. A 100–130 sq ft room is the smallest air mass in a 2BHK and the easiest to overdo.
There are two honest exceptions. If the second bedroom is a child's room, ask the child — the autonomy matters more than my ranking, and the Shangri-La-inspired (jasmine, green tea, white tea) or Four Seasons-inspired (citrus, floral, sandalwood) are usually what gets chosen. People ask me for a favourite scent and I never answer usefully, because the question that matters in a three-room flat is not which one is best. It is which three sit at the right distance from each other — a wardrobe is a set of relationships, and it can be excellent while every member of it is merely good.
The bit I would defend hardest is the second bedroom. It is tempting to give the guest room the fragrance you are proudest of — it is the room you most want to impress somebody in. Do the opposite. Give it the quietest thing you own, run it low, and let a guest wake up thinking the room was pleasant without being able to say why. That restraint is the most hotel-like decision available to you in a 2BHK, and it costs exactly the same as the alternative, because all nine bottles arrive with the machines anyway.
