How does it turn oil into scent?
Water and heat are the two things you do not want in a home
A machine that mists water into the room adds humidity and can leave a fine residue on nearby surfaces, which in a home full of veneer, art, books and upholstery is a genuine problem rather than a technicality. Heat changes the character of a fragrance as it evaporates, so the top of a composition burns off first and the smell drifts through the day. Cold-air nebulising avoids both: the oil is dispersed dry, so what leaves the machine in hour eight smells like what left it in hour one. Coverage is the number that decides whether you need one machine or five
A rating in cubic metres is the only honest way to describe what a machine can do, because scent fills volume, not floor area, and Indian homes vary enormously in ceiling height. A machine rated to 1000m³ - roughly 2,000 to 3,000 sq ft at normal ceiling heights - covers a typical apartment from one point. Anything that quotes only vague phrases like large rooms is telling you it does not want to be measured. Work out length by width by height for your floor and compare it with the rating.
