A pre-owned car turns up already finished. The seats were chosen by somebody else, the mats were chosen by somebody else, the mirror angle and the seat memory and the radio presets all came from a person the buyer has never met. Almost everything in that cabin is a decision the new owner did not make, and most of what they could change costs real money or needs a workshop. What they can change on the first afternoon, with no tools and nobody's permission, is a very short list - and one item on it fits in a door pocket and is sealed until they decide to open it.
Handed over sealed, opened by the owner. SOSA car perfume, 12ml, ₹449 to ₹509 - two variants at the same price: Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw). No fitment, no model to match, and nothing decided inside the cabin before the buyer gets there. Alcohol-free, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India.
Quick answers — read this first
What can somebody buying a pre-owned car add to it themselves on the first day? Very little without tools, which is the point. SOSA car perfume at ₹449 to ₹509 for 12ml is one of the few. It is sold in two forms at the same price - Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw) - and the spray does nothing at all until the owner picks it up and uses it.
Should a pre-owned dealer apply the fragrance before the customer collects the car? Those are two different acts and they read differently. A bottle handed over sealed and unopened leaves the first application to the owner, in their own car, at a moment they choose. A cabin already scented before they arrive is a decision somebody else made for them, which is the exact thing a pre-owned buyer has just inherited a car full of.
Does SOSA publish anything about what this does for a dealership? No, and the honest version matters here. SOSA publishes no data of any kind on what a gift does to customer behaviour, and nothing on this page claims one. The mechanism is all that is knowable: a sealed 12ml bottle goes into the car, and the owner uses it or does not.
The short answer
Short answer: Hand over a sealed bottle rather than a scented cabin. SOSA car perfume is Rs 449 to Rs 509 at 12ml, and the spray and hanging forms cost the same, so the choice is who applies it first. No bulk rate is published; quantities are settled on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531.
The pick: The 12ml spray, ₹449 to ₹509, handed over sealed - because the first thing that happens in that cabin should be the owner opening it.
Why: Same price as the hanging bottle, no fitment, no model to match, and nothing already decided inside a car the buyer has only just taken on.
A gift cannot change how somebody's week went, and a page that suggests otherwise is not worth reading. What a small parcel does is tell a person you were thinking about them on a day when nothing made you - which is a real thing to say, and worth saying. Keep it small, because a large one asks somebody already short of energy to produce a reaction, and send the words separately, because the object cannot carry them.
Customers buying pre-owned cars sometimes want the vehicle to feel personally theirs from the first day. Does giving them a fragrance they apply themselves help that transition?
Start with what is actually true rather than what would be convenient. Nobody can tell you how a buyer will feel about a car, and SOSA publishes no data on that, on how a gift changes what a customer does next, or on anything downstream of a handover. What can be described is the mechanism, and the mechanism is unusually clean here. A pre-owned car arrives with almost every interior decision already made by somebody else. The list of things a new owner can change on day one without a workshop, a fitting or an invoice is short: the presets, the mats, whatever they put in the door pockets, and what the cabin smells like. SOSA car perfume is published at ₹449 for Jasmine, ₹479 for Sandalwood and Lavender, ₹489 for Icy Mint, ₹499 for Lemon, and ₹509 for Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver at 12ml, in two variants the store names plainly - Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw) - and both cost exactly the same. So the decision is not budget. It is whether the scent in that cabin is something the owner switched on, or something they inherited along with the seat covers. Handing over a sealed bottle puts the first application in their hands. Every SOSA car fragrance is alcohol-free, oil and water based, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India. And a fragrance adds a scent to a cabin: it does not remove, neutralise, mask or purify an odour, it does not clean the air, and it is no substitute for the detailing you already do. On quantities, there is no bulk rate, no minimum quantity, no price break and no per-unit figure published anywhere - bulk orders are welcome and are settled on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531. A portion of every SOSA order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
A sealed bottle is not a smaller gift than a scented cabin. It is a different one, and the difference is who opened it.
The default here: the 12ml spray, ₹449 to ₹509 - same price as the hanging bottle, handed over sealed, applied when the owner decides and not before.
What a pre-owned car already carries, and what the buyer is left to change
Three things decide this, and the first is simply an honest look at what a pre-owned buyer has actually taken on.
1
What they inherited
A pre-owned cabin is a finished room somebody else furnished
Worth being precise about what is different here, because it is not sentiment. A new car arrives neutral: nothing in it was chosen by a person, so nothing in it has to be undone. A pre-owned car arrives furnished. The seat position, the mirror angles, the radio presets, the mats, any accessory the last owner fitted - all of it is somebody else's judgement, sitting in a space the buyer now spends an hour a day in.
Most of it they will not change. Changing seats costs money. Changing mats is a Sunday. Changing the trim is a workshop. The short list of things a new owner can alter on the first afternoon, with no tools and no appointment, is where this gift lives, and there are only about four items on it.
Scent is on that list and it is the only one on it that a dealership can hand across a desk. That is the whole structural argument, and it does not require anybody to claim that a small bottle changes how somebody feels about a car.
Tip: The gift is not the scent. It is one of the very few decisions in that cabin the buyer gets to make.
2
Who opens it
Sealed and handed over, or applied before they arrive
These sound like the same gesture and they are not. If your team sprays the cabin before collection, the scent is in place when the buyer opens the door - which is another finished decision in a car already full of them, and it is the one thing they cannot politely undo in front of you.
If the bottle is sealed and unopened when it is handed over, nothing has happened yet. The buyer takes it home, and whatever the cabin smells like on the drive out is the car, not your gesture. When they use it, they choose the day and they choose how much. Both forms are published at the same price - Jasmine is ₹449 either way, Oud is ₹509 either way - so nothing about this is a budget decision, and any page telling you one form is the upgrade is inventing a difference the price list denies.
The spray tilts furthest in this direction. It sits in a door pocket and does nothing until somebody reaches for it, and it leaves nothing on the mirror. The hanging bottle begins working the moment it goes in and occupies the most looked-at object in the interior, which is a fine thing when the owner hung it there and a presumptuous one when you did.
3
What cannot be said
Three gaps, and one of them is the whole reason to be careful
SOSA does not publish how long a 12ml bottle lasts, in spray or hanging form, for any scent. The single exception is Mysore Orange Blossom, a spray-only scent which publishes about 100 sprays at 10ml (₹549) and about 500 sprays at 50ml (₹1,499). Those belong to that one product and must not be stretched across the other eight.
There is no bulk rate, no minimum quantity, no price break and no lead time published anywhere, and no rate card exists to send you. Bulk orders are welcome; the conversation happens on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531. Branding is exactly one thing - custom label or logo on product - with no printed box, no sleeve, no insert and no ribbon.
And the one that matters most on a page like this: nobody can tell you how a buyer will feel about their car, and SOSA does not claim to. No fragrance house has data on that, and a page that promised you it would make a used car feel new would be selling you a sentence rather than a product. What is real is narrow and worth having on its own: the buyer gets an object they open themselves, in a space where nearly every other decision was already taken.
Tip: Hand over the object. Leave the meaning to the person who owns the car.
The two variants, and why the price is not the question
Spray or Hanging - same product, same price, different control
The store publishes both forms of every 12ml scent and names them plainly: Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw). They cost the same - ₹449 for Jasmine up to ₹509 for Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver. So the decision is about two other things. Who decides when the scent happens: a spray sits in a glovebox until somebody picks it up; a hanging bottle works from the moment it goes in. And what stays visible: the hanging bottle hangs where the owner sees it, the spray does not. When the car belongs to your customer, those two usually settle it. Only Mysore Orange Blossom publishes a life: about 100 sprays at 10ml, about 500 at 50ml. No 12ml bottle publishes one, in either form.
How to build this into a pre-owned handover without overclaiming
Hand the bottle over sealed. Do not apply anything in the cabin beforehand.
Say what it is in one line: a 12ml car perfume, spray or hanging, same price.
Keep two or three scents rather than eight so the desk has no decision to make.
Take your monthly number to WhatsApp. No rate is published for you to read first.
The SOSA principle
The useful thing about scent in a pre-owned car is not that it is pleasant. It is that it is one of the only things in that cabin the new owner can change on the first afternoon, with no tools, no appointment and nobody's approval.
Which is also why the sealed bottle beats the pre-scented cabin: the moment you apply it for them, it stops being their decision and becomes one more thing they inherited.
Which scent to hand over when you are choosing for somebody else
You are choosing on behalf of somebody whose taste you do not know, so the safe ground is narrower than the range. Jasmine at ₹449 is soft and floral and the least likely to be actively disliked; Lemon at ₹499 is bright and clean and reads as a fresh start without announcing anything. Sandalwood at ₹479 is the warm middle and the one that sounds considered rather than default. Oud at ₹509 is rich and woody, and people hold firm opinions about it, which makes it excellent for a buyer you have spoken to for two weeks and risky for one you have not. Mysore Orange Blossom at ₹549 is spray only. All of them are alcohol-free, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India.
The SOSA gift edit
Four ways to handle scent at a pre-owned handover, and where each one breaks
The option
Who it suits, and where it fails
A sealed spray · ₹449 to ₹509
Nothing has happened in the cabin yet, and the first application belongs to the owner. It fails if your handover needs something visibly ceremonial - a small sealed bottle is deliberately quiet, and that restraint is the entire trade you are making.
A hanging bottle · the same ₹449 to ₹509
Working from the moment it goes in and visible on the mirror, and it can be topped up later from a 15ml refill. It fails on the exact point this page turns on: it occupies the most looked-at spot in a cabin the buyer has only just taken ownership of.
A Discovery Set · ₹699 to ₹899
Three travel-size mini sprays in one box, in eight fixed curated trios, so the owner finds their own answer instead of being handed yours. It fails on cost discipline if every car gets one, and the trios are fixed - a chosen-to-order set is not offered.
Scenting the cabin before collection · no product handed over
Fine as part of your own preparation, and it is your call. It fails as a gift, because there is no object, nothing for the owner to decide, and the one act they cannot undo politely is the one you performed for them.
What exists for handing out in quantity, and what does not
Sets, combos, refills - and the four things nobody publishes
For businesses handing something to a lot of customers, this is the honest inventory. The Car Perfume Discovery Set is three travel-size mini sprays in eight fixed curated trios, ₹699 to ₹899, with a Pack of 9 at ₹2,999. Combos pair two scents at ₹899 and ₹949. 15ml refills are ₹399 to ₹449 and they refill the hanging bottle. Now the gaps, because you are planning around them: the trios are fixed and a build-your-own set is not offered; no spray refill is published; no bulk rate, minimum, lead time or per-unit cost is published anywhere; and no cost per spray can honestly be given.Bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available - that is the one branding option. Quantities are settled on WhatsApp.
Three other things sit around the 12ml bottle and it is worth knowing where. The Car Perfume Discovery Set is three travel-size mini sprays in eight fixed curated trios, ₹699 to ₹899, with a Pack of 9 at ₹2,999 - the honest choice when you want the buyer to find their own scent rather than accept yours. Combos pair two scents at ₹899 and ₹949, each sold as spray or hanging at the same price. 15ml refills at ₹399 to ₹449 exist, and read that carefully: they refill the hanging bottle, and no spray refill is published. Higher up, SOSA Safar at ₹3,999 is a cordless waterless diffuser with three speeds and a 1, 2 or 3-hour auto shut-off, which belongs on a chauffeur-driven fleet rather than on a used-car desk.
Published as Spray (Strong scent-throw). Applied when somebody decides to apply it, and nothing stays visible in the cabin afterwards. Eight scents, ₹449 to ₹509 at 12ml.
Published as Hanging (Mild scent-throw), and the same price as the spray. It runs continuously once it is in the car, and it is visible from the driver's seat.
Three travel-size mini sprays in one box, in eight fixed curated trios from ₹699 to ₹899, plus a Pack of 9 at ₹2,999. The trios are fixed and a build-your-own set is not offered.
from ₹699
The one published fact that settles most of this decision
Spray and Hanging are the same price. So the choice is never the money.
Every SOSA car scent is sold in two forms and the store names them plainly: Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw). They cost exactly the same - ₹449 for Jasmine, ₹479 for Sandalwood and Lavender, ₹489 for Icy Mint, ₹499 for Lemon, and ₹509 for Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver at 12ml. So the decision is not a budget decision at all. It is two other things. Who decides when the scent happens: a spray waits in a glovebox until somebody picks it up, while a hanging bottle starts working the moment it goes in and keeps working. And what stays visible: a hanging bottle hangs where the owner sees it, and a spray does not. For a business handing something to a customer, those two facts usually decide it on their own, because the car belongs to the customer and not to you. Every one of these is alcohol-free, oil and water based, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India. Only one scent publishes how long it lasts:Mysore Orange Blossom, spray only, about 100 sprays at 10ml for ₹549 and about 500 sprays at 50ml for ₹1,499. No 12ml bottle publishes a life, in either form.
Tell SOSA who it is for, roughly how big the room is, whether their home is already scented and what you want to spend - and you will be told which size and which scent, including the times the honest answer is the 50ml rather than the 130ml.
The last owner chose the seats, the mats and the presets. Handing over a sealed bottle means at least one thing in that cabin was chosen by the person who now drives it.
— Sonal Sahani, SOSA
The SOSA gifting range
Two questions settle almost every reed diffuser gift, and the first one is not price. How big is the room it is going into? A 50ml suits a bedroom, a study, a hallway or a first diffuser; a 130ml suits an open-plan living and dining area, and it is genuinely too much for a small closed bedroom. Then: how much do you actually know about their taste? The less you know, the less declarative the scent should be - Morning Freshness is the safest of the five for a home you have never stood in, and Fresh Brew coffee-vanilla is the strongest opinion in the range. Price follows those two answers rather than leading them.
The SOSA car range, sorted by who controls when the scent happens
Start from control and visibility, not from the price
Eight scents at ₹449 to ₹509. Applied on demand by whoever is holding it, and it leaves nothing visible in the cabin - which is why it suits a car the giver does not own
₹3,999 - rechargeable, three speeds and a 1, 2 or 3-hour auto shut-off, so a driver controls when it runs. Imported rather than made in India
₹3,999
Spray and Hanging are the same product at the same price. The store publishes them as Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw), and the choice is scent-throw and who controls it, never budget. Every SOSA car fragrance is alcohol-free, oil and water based, phthalate-free, paraben-free and IFRA-compliant, made in India. Fragrance adds a scent to a cabin; it does not remove, neutralise, mask or purify an odour, it does not clean the air, and it is not a substitute for cleaning a car. No spray refill is published - the 15ml refills are for the hanging bottle. Prices above are published retail prices; bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available, and quantities, rates and anything commercial are settled on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 rather than published here. SOSA is an Indian fragrance house based in Pune, sending orders across India. A portion of every order supports girl-child education through Nanhi Kali.
The honest spec sheet
What the SOSA car pages publish, and what they do not
Everything below is on the live product pages. Anything not on this list is not something a page like this should state.
Two forms, one price - Spray (Strong scent-throw) and Hanging (Mild scent-throw) are published as variants of the same 12ml product at the same price: Jasmine ₹449, Sandalwood and Lavender ₹479, Icy Mint ₹489, Lemon ₹499, and Oud, Sea Breeze and Vetiver ₹509. Every one also carries a 50ml spray at ₹1,499.
Composition - alcohol-free, oil and water based, phthalate-free, paraben-free, IFRA-compliant, formulated by Sonal Sahani, ISIPCA Versailles trained, and made in India.
The only published longevity - Mysore Orange Blossom, spray only: about 100 sprays at 10ml (₹549) and about 500 sprays at 50ml (₹1,499), published as about 50 days at two sprays a day and 3 months and above at one. No other scent publishes a spray count or a duration, and no 12ml bottle publishes a life in either form.
Sets and combos - the Discovery Set is three travel-size mini sprays in eight fixed trios, ₹699 to ₹899, with a Pack of 9 at ₹2,999. Combos are ₹899 and ₹949. The trios are fixed; a build-your-own set is not offered.
Not published, and therefore never stated here: any bulk rate, minimum quantity, slab, price break, lead time, turnaround or per-unit cost; any trade, partner or dealer programme; any cost per spray; how long a 12ml bottle lasts; and anything at all about what a gift does to customer retention, referrals or repeat business. Those go to WhatsApp +91 96192 18531.
Working out what to hand a customer, and how many? Tell SOSA on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531 four things: what your business actually does, roughly how many customers a month you are talking about, whether you want the customer to control the scent or the car to carry it continuously, and what you want to spend per customer. You will get a straight answer rather than a catalogue. Bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available - that is the one branding option, and there is no custom box, sleeve, insert or printed packaging. What is not on this page, because SOSA does not publish it: any bulk rate, minimum quantity, price break, lead time or per-unit cost; any trade, partner or dealer programme; how long a 12ml bottle lasts in either form; any spray count for any scent except Mysore Orange Blossom; and any cost per spray. One thing worth knowing before you plan around it: the 15ml refills are for the hanging bottle, and no spray refill is published, so a spray is a sealed unit rather than a topped-up one. Where SOSA is: an Indian fragrance house based in Pune, sending orders across India, with no shop, stockist, counter or warehouse in any other city.

A note from Sonal
The enquiries that come from automotive businesses are refreshingly unsentimental. Nobody writes to me about the magic of a first drive. They write: we hand over ninety cars a month, we currently give a keychain, and we are fairly sure nobody keeps it. That is a good question, and it deserves a better answer than a brochure.
So here is the part I would want you to take away, and it is the only part that is actually a fact. The spray and the hanging bottle are the same product at the same price. Jasmine is ₹449 either way. Oud is ₹509 either way. That surprises people, because they assume one must be the upgrade. Neither is. What you are choosing between is who decides when the scent happens and whether anything stays visible in the cabin - and when the car belongs to your customer rather than to you, those two questions usually answer themselves.
The part I will not pretend about is the part most of these enquiries are really asking. I cannot tell you that a gift brings anybody back. Nobody selling you a gift can, and the ones who say they can are selling you something else. What I can tell you is the mechanism: a small bottle goes into a car, it does not need fitting or explaining, it works the same in a hatchback and in a seven-seater, and if the customer likes it they will use it where they spend an hour a day. What that is worth to your business is your judgement, not mine.
And the honest gaps, because you are planning around them. There is no published bulk rate, no minimum, no lead time and no per-unit cost - not because they are secret but because they are settled properly in a conversation, and a page that invented them would be lying to you. Custom label or logo on product is real, and it is the only branding there is.
Frequently asked questions
Should we spray the car before the customer collects it, or give them the bottle?
Give them the bottle, sealed. Those are two different acts. A cabin scented before collection is one more decision made for somebody who has just taken on a car full of decisions made for them, and it is the one they cannot politely reverse while standing in your forecourt. A sealed 12ml bottle at Rs 449 to Rs 509 leaves the first application to them, on a day they pick.
Is the spray a more expensive version of the hanging bottle?
No. They are two variants of the same 12ml product at the same price, published by the store as Spray for strong scent-throw and Hanging for mild scent-throw. Jasmine is Rs 449 in either form and Oud is Rs 509 in either form. The decision is about who applies it and whether anything stays visible in the cabin, never about budget.
Will a fragrance make a used car feel like a new one?
Nobody can tell you that and SOSA does not claim it. A fragrance adds a scent to a cabin: it does not remove, neutralise, mask or purify an odour, it does not clean the air, and it is not a substitute for detailing the car properly. What it does is narrower and still worth having, which is that it is one of the few things in a pre-owned interior the new owner can change on the first afternoon without tools.
How long does one bottle last a customer?
SOSA does not publish that figure for the 12ml bottles in either form, for any scent. The one exception is Mysore Orange Blossom, which is spray only and publishes approximately 100 sprays in the 10ml at Rs 549 and approximately 500 sprays in the 50ml at Rs 1,499. Those numbers belong to that scent and should not be applied to the other eight.
Is there a rate for a pre-owned dealership taking these every month?
Not one that is published anywhere, and a page that quoted you one would be making it up. There is no bulk rate, no minimum quantity, no price break and no lead time on any page. Bulk orders are genuinely welcome and custom label or logo on product is available as the single branding option. Quantities are settled on WhatsApp at +91 96192 18531.
Take the next step
Hand it over sealed, then take your monthly number to WhatsApp
The 12ml spray at ₹449 to ₹509 when the owner should be the one who applies it first. The hanging bottle at the same price when the buyer has told you they want scent from the moment they drive out. A Discovery Set from ₹699 when you would rather they found their own answer than accepted yours. No bulk rate is published, so bring your monthly number instead - custom label or logo on product is the one branding option.
Not sure which one suits the person you are buying for? Send SOSA their age, whether they drive, whether they like their home scented and your budget on WhatsApp, and you will get an honest answer - including when the cheaper product is the better gift.

What is not published, and is therefore not stated here: how long a 12ml bottle lasts in either form; any spray count or duration for any scent other than Mysore Orange Blossom; any cost per spray; any bulk rate, minimum quantity, slab, price break, lead time, turnaround or per-unit cost; any trade, partner or dealer programme; and any spray refill, since the 15ml refills are published for the hanging bottle. Limits of this guide: fragrance adds a scent to a cabin. It does not remove, neutralise, mask or purify an odour, it does not clean the air, and it is never a substitute for cleaning a vehicle. No claim is made anywhere on this page about mood, stress, calm, alertness or wellbeing, nor about the safety of any product for children, pregnant passengers, elderly passengers or pets, nor about flammability, nor about how any customer or passenger will feel. No claim is made about business outcomes. Nothing on this page states or implies that a gift increases customer retention, referrals, repeat business, reviews, recall or sales; SOSA publishes no data of that kind and none is invented here. No competitor is named or characterised, and no rating, review count or customer name from any product page is cited. Bulk orders are welcome and custom label or logo on product is available; that is the only branding option, and quantities are settled on WhatsApp. SOSA Home & Body is an Indian fragrance house based in Pune, Maharashtra, sending orders across India, with no shop, showroom, stockist, counter or warehouse in any other city. Prices and availability are subject to change - see the live product pages.
